Lots and Lots of Christmas Cards

Hi Friends!  You must be thinking. . ."wow, girl you've been busy" considering all the cards I've posted the last few days.  Actually, I have.   I think this is the most cards I've worked on in the past year.  I do still make cards but sporadically depending on my mood.  I'll go for weeks not making any card then all of a sudden make 5 cards in a day.  Creating should be about being care free  . .creating because you want to and not because you have to.  When you have to make them, it becomes burdensome and it starts to show with the end results.  I can tell the difference in my cards by just looking at them, whether I enjoyed making them or because I just had to make for one reason or another.

Anyway, I just wanted to share a few cards that I made the last few days.  This card was made using an old Stampin Up stamp.  All the papers on most of the cards I'm sharing are Stampin Up designer papers and the ribbons are also Stampin Up.

This card was made using The Greeting Farm rubber stamp

This card was made using Whiff of Joy stamp

This card was made using Pink Cat Studio

Again Pink Cat Studio

Finally, again this image is by Pink Cat Studio

I made a few more cards but I haven't had a chance to take photos of them.  I'll share them maybe tomorrow.  Okay, that's it for today.

More Christmas Cards

Hi Friends!  It's me again.  I just wanted to share a bunch of Christmas cards I made in the last month.  I've made quite a few actually.  I made a bunch yesterday but I'll share them another time.  I decided to skip Thanksgiving this year.  I'm a bit behind this year so I don't have time to work on Thanksgiving cards.

I used an old Stampin Up image for this card.  It still is one of my favorite.  The card above is also an image by Stampin Up.  Most of the designer papers on my cards are Stampin Up as well..

I used a Magnolia stamp for this card.

I only have 2 Precious Moments rubber stamp. . .one is thankfully a Christmas image.

I think this is a Whiff of Joy image but I'm ot positive.

I love House Mouse images. . .they are so cute.

This is a Stampin Up image as well.

Anyway. . .that's it for today.  I'll share more tomorrow if I have the time to post. . .:)
Thank you for visiting my blog. .

Christmas Cards

Hello Friends!  Gosh, it's been since I last posted anything.  But I've been busy making Christmas cards.  I've also been busy doing other things in life.  Mainly going on out on little adventures. . .just a bunch of fun stuff. Maybe I should post my little adventures that I go on from time to time but I've been too lazy to blog it.  I primarily post pictures on Instagram or on my Facebook.  It's much easier and faster to post them on there but maybe from time to time I'll share them on my blog.

Anyway. . .here are a few of the Christmas cards I've made in the past few weeks.  I actually made a lot more but I'll share them next time.

I don't have much to write about. . .other than share the cards I made.
Hope y'all are having a great week!!

Halloween Cards

Hi Friends!  I'm still here. . sorry I haven't posted anything for quite a while.  Like most things in life, we move on to do other things but once in a while I think about the days when I blogged daily.  It was fun. . it was such an important part of my life back then.  Maybe one day I'll have the same feelings about blogging as I used to.  I still make cards, not on a daily basis but often enough to say I still have a passion for it.

Anyway. . .I've been working on holiday cards.  Today I'll share some of the Halloween cards I've made.  I used my Magnolia Stamps for the images on all of my cards.

I also used my retired Stampin Up designer paper for the background paper for all of the cards.  Believe it or not, I still have a bunch of the papers from 2 years ago.  They're all in little pieces but still big enough to use for cards.  One sheet of designer paper can sure go a long way!!

I don't have too many Halloween images.  Just a few Stampin Up, Magnolia Stamps images and other brands.  I really should make treat bags rather than cards for Halloween.

I colored all the images with my Copic Markers.

I think I made a few more Halloween cards.  I'll share them next time.

Anyway. . .that's pretty much it for now.  Maybe if I'm in the mood, I'll create another post with a few of the Christmas cards I made.

Hope you all have a fabulous day!!

Christmas Cards, Hawaii, Daughter's Graduation

Hi Friends!  I'm sorry I haven't posted for the past 2 months.  I just haven't been motivated to blog but I have been making cards.  I'm currently working on Holiday cards and made a few Halloween and Christmas cards.  I still need to take pictures of them.  I'll post them next time.

The image is actually heat embossed with white embossing powder.  I think I'm going to use the image a few more times using different colored embossing powders maybe in gold, red, and silver.

I recently traveled to Hawaii because my daughter just graduated from college and we had her graduation party there.  I have a lot of pictures of Hawaii but I still have to look through them.  I'll share them later.
This photo is of Makapu'u and Rabbit Island.   There is a actually a lighthouse that can be viewed if you hike a small trail up the rocks and look down.  It's an easy hike but it was so hot when we  were there, I didn't feel like hiking it.  Maybe next time.

My daughter graduated with a BS in Biology.  I'm so proud of her!

This picture is of her after the graduation with all her leis.  My family flew over to California for her graduation so that's why she has so many leis.  It was wonderful!

Anyway. . .until later!  Hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday!

Thank you and Girlfriend Cards

Just a few cards I made a few days ago.  I've been working on using my Unity Stamps which I have a lot that I haven't inked ever.   There was a time when I purchased their Kit of the Month which was a subscription.  Unfortunately, as time went on, I barely used any of them.  They'll come in the mail and I would just store them without even opening the package.

I know. . .it's odd but I just had to many rubber stamps that I couldn't possibly catch up.

So I decided tow finally open some of the packages and use the stamps.  It's like I just purchased them.  LOL!  It's sorta fun to open a package up even if it was purchased over a year ago.

I really like this girlfriend image and the sentiment.  It's a perfect image and sentiment for a friendship card.

It was actually really quick to make the card because there wasn't much coloring needed for the image.

This card was quick and easy too because I didn't do any coloring with the image.  I used a dye ink and stamped on to colored card stock.  It was really simple.  I love when card making is quick and painless.

Anyway, that's it for today.  I actually made a few more other cards but I'll share them on another day.
Thanks for stopping by my blog.  Hope your weekend is going great!
