The Greeting Farm "The Case of the Curios Card Challenge" and Mini Album Project Tutorial

Hi Friends!! Disclaimer. . .this post will be long! LOL! Gosh, Blogger is being a pain today. I don't know if it's my Internet or Blogger but it took forever for the upload screen to pop up so it took forever to upload my photos! Anything that delays my time is veeeerrrry annoying. Time is ticking. . .

Hey, The Greeting Farm has a new challenge this week called "The Case of the Curious Card". . .it's a CASEing challenge. Stop by The Greeting Farm blog and check out the card to case and the samples by the design team. My card is a bit late. . . arrrggh! I didn't realize it was Thursday yesterday . . .gosh, I can't believe that it's Friday already. Breath, Maria, breath. Seriously. . .I just feel like time is not on my side!!

Anyway, here is my take on the CASE card. I had a lot of fun creating this card. I was going to do the inside of the card but I needed to post this card right away so I decided to skip the inside.

I colored the "Hello Ian" image with my Copic Markers and added a bit of SU Crystal Effects to parts of the image. I also drew a few extra sunflowers.

Anyway, stop by the Greeting Farms blog and hope you'll play along!! If you play along, you'll have the chance to win your choice of The Greeting Farm stamp set! Any stamp of your choice! Whoohoo

Don't forget to scroll down and check out a mini album I created using The Greeting Farm "Never Ever" stamp set.

Card Details:

Paper: K&CO desitgner paper, SU More Mustard, Cool Caribbean, Certainly Celery
Ink: Copic Markers, SU More Mustard
Accessories: JoAnn brads, CB embossing folder, Grosgrain ribbon, SU Crystal Effects, Paper cord,
Wow, I've been busy!! This is a mini album I created last night. I actually have a tutorial for this project but I still need to convert it into a PDF file and upload it to Scribd. Stop by tonight if you're interested in the tutorial to create this mini album. I should be able to convert the file this evening.

Isn't Peter the cutest or what? He is from The Greeting Farm stamp set "Never Ever". He is the most adorable image ever. This mini album is super easy to make. I decided to create an album of my son and I'll give it to my husband. My husband loves my mini albums so I usually create them for him.

I colored Peter with my Copic Markers and cut him out and remounted the image with foam tape. Doesn't he look like he is flying?

Here is the album opened up. The album has 4 pages and 8 sides. All the sentiments I used on this album is from various The Greeting Farm stamp sets. The beauty of The Greeting Farm stamp sets is that they all have sentiments that can be used for both scrapbooking and cardmaking.

Here is another of the pages. I think I used one of the image on the previous album that I posted. I love the photo of my son in his graduation cap and gown.

Anyway, stop by this evening for the tutorial!!

Mini Album Details:

Stamps: The Greeting Farm Never Ever, Various The Greeting Farm stamp sets (sentiments)
Paper: K&Co Designer Paper
Ink: Copic Markers
Accessories: SU Word Window Punch, Key Tag Punch, 1", 1 1/4" and Scallop Circle punch, Making Memories ribbon

With the tutorial below, if you want to print it, click on the drop menu that is labeled "more". It'll give you the option to print and also save the tutorial on your computer. You may view a full page of the tutorial by clicking on the icon to the very top right corner. It'll open up a new window with the tutorial. If you just want to enlarge directly on the blog, click on the + button or the magnifying glass! Anyway, try the tutorial out when you have a chance! To the right of the tutorial, click on the scroll bar to scroll down the document.

I have a new bundle of Heidi Grace double-sided paper (part of a blog candy I won recently)... I have been wondering all day what to do with it so that I don't waste the paper...
I didn't know what to do and I ended up googling. Guess where my search landed me? ;-) Read a couple of posts by you (April '07) when you had this thing called the Daily Special and you had actually posted on effectively using double-sided DP!

Thank you again, Maria. What would I do without you and your inspirational blog, I don't know!

Love,
Smita.
