The Greeting Farm Flower Turtle Down by the Pond

Happy Sunday Friends!! Hey, take a look at my big flower. I got the template from Mel at Mel Stamps. I printed the flower template at 119%. I had to enlarge it because my image was too large and couldn't fit the original size. I know. . .my flower extends over the card but I couldn't make it smaller. I think it looks okay. . .what do you think? Is the flower too big?

Mel does a lot of stitching to her cards so I decided to add some hand stitching on my card. Can you believe it? It takes a lot of motivation for me to hand stitch my card. I'm a lazy stamper that normally have to use a sewing machine. Whenever I visit Mel's site, I'm inspired to work harder on my cards! LOL! I must have had a lot of time on my hands! Actually, it didn't take too long to to do the stitching. I was listening to music and it went by really quickly. Anyway, I think I'll do more hand stitching on my card. It was sorta fun.

My image is by the Greeting Farm. . .it's from the Down by Pond stamp set. Okay. . .this stamp set is the cutest. Actually, all of the Greeting Farm stamps are supah cute!

I colored my image using my Copic Markers and added a bit of Fabric Glitter around the circle. Fabric paint/glitter actually works really well with card making. The glitter is a little thicker so the glitter dots are more uniformed when you add it on your card. They don't dry flat like Stickles.

Anyway. . .I have more cards to post. . .maybe I'll post it later this evening!

Hope y'all have a wonderful Sunday!

I just stamped this image too!! The only problem is that it will sit there on my desk for a long time since I have lots of other things going on right now. Great coloring and colors for your image. I think you did a great job on your hand stitching, it is very time consuming too!
Hugs,
Jodi =)
