Random Card

Hi Everyone! Just a random card I made using an image that I colored a while ago. It's what I call my "stock" image. I know I colored this image with Copic Markers. I don't even know the stamp set name at this time. I also used my old scrap designer paper to decorate this card.

This is going to be a short post because I gotta run. I need to pick my daughter up from school. It seems I'm always in the middle of something when it's time to pick her up! LOL!

Anyway. . .it really quite quick to make this card because the image was already colored! I, totally, love that!!

Well, I'll see if I can work on more cards when I get back!

Three Bugs in a Rug "Pretty in Pink" Kit

Hi Everyone!! Well, I actually created something after a short hiatus! Yay! I received my "Three Bugs In A Rug Caboodle Kit" from Jen at Pieces of Me! Yay! You can find this kit at her Little C's Stamp n' Things online store. Go check it out.

I did add a few of my own embellishments but the paper and the title is from the kit. The flowers to the right were rubber stamped using "Stampin Up Doodle This" stamp set. I added a few buttons for embellishment and small strip of ribbon attached to the title with staples.

When I was creating the layout, I couldn't decided what side of the scrapbook paper to use. Argghhh! The scrapbook papers that came with this kit are so pretty. They are double sided and are thick like cardstock. Be sure to drop by Jen's store and see what other FABULOUS products she carry.


The picture is of my daughter when she was 5 years old. This is one of my favorite picture of her. When she was little, she loved dressing up but today, I can't even get her to wear a dress. I miss those days when I dressed her up in pretty dresses!

Little C's Challenge #8

Hi Everyone! It's challenge time again!! Whoohoo! We're on challenge #8 now! Wow, 8 challenges already! Well, this week's challenge is to create a Halloween card using the sketch below. I hope you all will play along!! For the details be sure to stop by Jen's blog site Pieces of Me.

My card was created using the "Anthony & Burt" stamp. that you can find at Jen's online store "Little C's Stamp n' Things. This stamp is called "Pumpkin Burt". Oh, my gosh this stamp image is so fun to color!! I mean, seriously! I bought a few of the "Anthony & Burt" from Jen and I can't wait to ink up the others. Be sure to stop by Jen's store. . .she has a lot of sales going on including "Whipper Snapper" stamps!! I love Whipper Snapper.


A ;little bit about my card. . .I colored the image using my Copic Markers and rubbed the background with dye ink using my sponge dauber. The web image in the background is by Stampin Up "Web Wishes" and the pumpkin is from the SU set "House of Haunts". The designer paper is by DCWV. I added a little sparkle to the Jack-o-Lantern by adding yellow Stickles.

Not to change the subject. . . .I'm sorry I haven't been posting much lately and stopping by your blog sites to comment or say hello. There's been a bit of a "drama" in my life and it's been sort of stressful. It's one of those weird events that sort of enters into your quiet peaceful existence that you're not sure how to handle because it's a "way, way out there" sort of stuff.

It's the sort of event that you're not sure is a good thing or potentially can be a VERY BAD thing. I wish I could discuss what it is but it is, like I said, way out there! I'll see how things develop.

Hi Everyone! When I first heard this song, I actually cried. LOL! It's such a pretty song . . .and a little sad. It's a song from the Broadway show "Jekyll and Hyde" called "Someone Like You" sung by Linda Eder. Check it out!

Stampin Up Best of Cluck Cards

Hi Everyone!! I worked on these two cards today using the Retired Stampin Up "Best of Cluck" stamp set. The color combos were inspired by my designer papers that were in my scrap pile which, by the way, I have a lot of.

I colored image using SU Markers on watercolor paper then took my SU "Color Spritzer Too" and sprayed dots all over the image. Unfortunately, the paper was still a little wet so the spots ended up dispersing a bit and became larger than I wanted but that's okay. I like the end results anyway.

Here is a closer look at the image. Can you see the splotches. The Color Spritzer's sprays typically smaller dots but if your paper is wet then it will end up larger.

Papers: SU More Mustard, DCWV designer paper

Ink: SU Markers, Sakura Souffle Opaque pen

Accessories: Ribbon and buttons (unknown), Marvy 2 1/2 circle and 3" scallop punch.

Here is the other card. Again, I watercolored the image using SU markers. With the egg, I created the dots using Sakura "Metallic" gel pens. I also used SU "Color Spritzer Tool" on the image but as you can see the splotches or dots are smaller because the paper was dry when I sprayed it.

You can't really see it in the image but I added micro beads on to the Prima flowers. Again, I used a designer paper from my scrap pile!

Ink: SU Markers, Sakura "Matallic" Gel pen, SU Lavendar Lace

Little C's Weekly Challenge #7

Hi Everyone! It's Jen's of Pieces of Me Little C's Weekly Challenge again. We're on challenge #7! Whoohoo! This week's challenge is to follow Julie Tilman's of Poetic Artistry's Sketch below.

I'm posting my card a little early because my Internet will be offline in the morning. Mr. Cable Man will over to fix my Internet. It's been running abnormally slow so hopefully, he'll be able to get to the root of the problem.

Anyway. . . .back to my card. . .I used Sarah Kay's stamp set that I purchased from Jen's store "Little C's Stamp n' Things". Go check out all the cool stuff in her store! Gotta love these Sarah Kays!! I actually have another Sarah Kay stamp but I had picked up the wrong stamp and only realised that I already used this stamp on 2 occasion after I had already created the card. Argggh. No matter, this image is way cute!!
