Stampin Up Simple Friendship

Good morning, Friends!  Last night I worked on two cards. . .yay!  I didn't step into my craft room until close to midnight.  I finished up the two cards rather quickly because the design was rather simple.  Hey whatt do you think of the white background?  I've had those photo studio for almost 2 years and I really didn't like using it.  I liked taking my photos with a backdrop but I was thinking maybe it was too distracting.  What do you think?  Do you like the white?  I have to adjust the lighting . . .these were just test photos.  anyway. . let me know what you think.

I decided to use my SU Simple Friendship stamp set.  I have a bad habit of using my stamp sets only once and don't use them again so I'm trying to get my money's worth on these stamps.  LOL!

The embossed background was created using the Sizzix embossing templates. Did you know that Sizzix now have embossing folders similar to the Cuttlebug ones?  I bought a Christmas embossing set but haven't had a chance to use it yet.  There's so many options now a days that I just go crazy wanting to buy all of them.  I'm trying very hard not to buy, buy, buy!  I don't want to keep up with the Joneses. . .I want to be happy with what I have but sometimes, when I look at cards that other's make and I see the pretty stuff they used on their card or project I want to buy the stuff.  There's so many enablers in blog land.  Some are really good at making me want to buy stuff.

Are you that way?  I guess who ever came up with the idea of design teams was very smart. . .they get a lot of advertisement for the fraction of what they would have to pay to advertise.

Anyway. . .what can I say about my card.  Nothing much.  All I did was stamp the butterfly image twice, cut it out, layered it on to one another then added the rhinestones.

I'll post my second card later today or maybe on another day.  I actually have 3 cards that I still haven't posted.  I've been lazy about blogging my cards the past weeks.  I've been getting so involved with my fitness and healthy diet that I sometimes don't step into my craft room.  The time that I use to exercise and cook a healthy meal sometimes eat up the time that I have for crafting and blogging.

I do have good news.  I lost 8 lbs this month, 3% total fat percentage and 1 point on my BMI.  Whoohoo!  I think I'm going to start a blog on fitness.  What do you think?  I was thinking of posting recipes that I cooked using recipes from Cooking Light, Weigth Watchers, and other healthy recipe books/web sites and give you my review on them.  We'll see. . .I don't think I have the time for it but I'd love to do it.

Anyway. . . .I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
