SFYTT and Mojo Monday Challenge and the Greeting Farm Digi Stamps
Hi Friends! I decided to participate in a few challenges. Do you participate in challenges for the prize that are given out or do you like to be challenged? I like challenges because it helps me to do something different from what I normally would think of doing. It's fun!
Well, this card is for the "Sketch For You To Try" challenge. I really liked the sketch so I decided to play along!
Hey. . .do you see the image? OMG! It's the new digi images at the Greeting Farm! Dang. . .they are so darn cute! I seriously had the most fun coloring the image!
I colored the image with a mix of Copic Markers and Prisma color pencils. The fun thing with Prismacolor Pencils is that it's easier to create highlights and shading but the down side is it takes much longer to color than with Copics.
Prismacolor Pencils was once my choice of color medium but after using Copics. . .I stopped using them. Mainly because of the time factor. It twice as long to color with the pencils which I don't like. I don't have as much time as I once had to craft so to sit and color with the pencils is just too time consuming but I do have to admit, the depth of shading is so much easier to achieve with pencils.
You can see the difference in my coloring. . .if you look at my card below. . it was colored with Copics only.
There are times when I can color with good highlights and shading with Copic . . .for me, it's hit and miss. It's a miss when I rush my coloring and I over color and totally color over the highlights like I did with my card below.

This card was created for the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge. I thought it was a fun sketch and a simple one too! Sometimes simple sketches are great because it allows more creative freedom. to add your own embellishments and such.
The image is again a digi image from "the Greeting Farm". I'm seriously diggin' the new digi images! They are so cute! I can't wait to get more of them! With this card, like I said earlier. . .the image was colored with Copics only
Anyway. . .that's it! Hope y'all have a wonderful Wendesday!!
