Thank You Card
Hi Friends! I'm sorry I haven't been posting. . . I've been busy re-building my life and it has been getting better. It's been a rough few months but I'm happy to say that I'm doing okay.
Part of the healing process included making a card again. I honestly thought a few months ago that I would never want to craft again. I cleaned out my craft room, stored my craft stuff in containers and hauled them all out to storage. I also started selling a bunch of my craft items on Ebay and I am still selling them. A few days ago, I thought of making a card without feeling sad so I decided to take a crack at it. I actually felt good making the card.
I've decided to sell at least half of my craft stuff and keep the ones that I really would have difficulties replacing. Fortunately, I left a few items at home rather than storing them but the amount of supplies I currently have are quite limited. No Spellbinder dies, Cuttlebug embossing folders, Copic Markers, etc. They're all in storage. What I do have at home are a few card stock, rubber stamps that I was meaning to sell, a few designer papers, a few ink pads, a limited amount of ribbons and embellishments, paper cutter, tape and paper shaper scissors. It's interesting that with a limited amount of supplies, it's really quite easy to make a card. I found that I really don't need all the gadgets and tons and tons of designer paper and tools to make a card.
I decided to re-open my Etsy Shop and also continue to sell more craft items on Ebay. Please stop by and check out the items I'm selling. I'll be listing new items on a regular basis so if you don't see anything you like at the moment, please check in regularly to view any new items I've listed.
The card sentiment says:
Thank You. . .
For always being there
For listening
and for your love and understanding
I dedicate my card to all my friends and family. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

This card I dedicate to all my friends and family who have been such blessings to me. I've received such wonderful support and I am so grateful for them. They've held me up in my darkest moments and with the grace of God, I am actually doing okay. Life is moving forward. . .although, I still have a lot of things to do and a lot more changes will occur in my life, I am managing pretty well and I still have a lot of good moments. A few months ago I really doubt it could happen but with lots of prayers, my faith in God, friends and family support. . .I believe everything will be all right.

It is so good to see you crafting again Maria! I am glad that things are getting better for you, I'm sure you have had some very rough times and you have been in my prayers. For having limited supplies you sure made a gorgeous card! I'm looking forward to seeing more of your beautiful creations!
This is just stunning Maria. Lovely design paper and that ribbon is just perfect.
Dear Maria , I had just signed in to your updates when I read about your sad story and your decision to sell all your craft stuff . I am so glad to receive this update and the card you made !!! And you are right , it doesn't take all that much to make a card . I am disabled by not being able to sit and stand up for no longer than 10 minutes , so I began making cards laying down and it works fine ! I wish you strength and i'm looking forward to your cards when your up to it ! Love
Dear Maria I'm so glad you were able to make a card and a beautiful one at that. All your readers hearts are with you at this sad time. Thank you for sharing this sweet card with us.

Maria. It is so good to hear from you and to know that you are healing. You have been in my prayers. I still believe that all things work together for good according to His will. I love the card and the inspiration to get rid of some of my stuff. ( I almost called it junk). My thoughts and prayers will continue to be with you.

Have been thinking about you and I'm really glad to see you made a card and that you're doing ok. Wonderful to get your post - I didn't think I'd see the day... so welcome back!
Dear Maria....what a wonderful surprise to see your post this morning. I am glad you are recovering well...losing someone is always very difficult to deal with especially when it a surprise. I am so glad to hear that you decided to pack up your better crafting things and put them in storage for now. I find crafting very therapeatic. Perhaps making and sharing this beautiful card with us will be an inspiration to continue. I hope we see you more often. Hugs, Donna
