Christmas Stampin All Year Long #35- Sankari's Non-Traditional Colors

Hi Friends!  Guess what today is?  It's Christmas Stampin All Year Long challenge time.  We're on week 35 and it's Sankari's of Sankari's Sunshine Corner turn to host our challenge.  Yay!  This week's challenge is to create a card using non-traditional Christmas colors.  Oooh, fun!  I love making Christmas cards with non-traditional colors.  I also like non-traditional colors for Christmas home decor. I love when I go to the mall and see the different colored Christmas tree decorations.

This year we won't be decorating our house; afirst time for us.  Why?  Well, we'll be traveling to Europe in December and will be spending Christmas in Rome and New Years in Paris.  I'm getting excited.  I've never been to Europe.  I may decorate a little bit but I don't think I'll put up a tree.  If I do, I may start decorating early November.  I just love the Christmas feeling so maybe, I'll decorate anyway.

Anyway. . .I decided to use the SU Snow Swirled stamp set for my Christmas card.  My color combo is Melon Mambo, Pretty in Pink, and Bordering Blue.

I stamped the image 3 times using  Melon Mambo on to the Bordering Blue card stock and matted it on to the Melon Mambo card stock and added a little bit of Stickles to the image.

Hope you'll play along this week.  Stop by Christmas Stampin All Year Long and check out the pretty Christmas cards the design team created!!!  I bet you'll be inspired to create your Christmas cards!!
Here's a close up of the image.  Do you see the Stickles?  I love using Stickles!!  Anyway, today I have to drive my daughter to the university.  My 100 mile drive days are back. . .my daughter starts school this week.  The up side is I'll probably drive her only twice a week and won't be hanging out on campus.

Hope you all have a wonderful Monday!
