Little C's Bubbles Noelani and Girl Scout Noelani Digi Images

Hello Friends! Okay. . .I think I'm losing my mind! LOL! First of all, I forgot to post my cards on my blog this morning! But to top that off, my day to post on Little C's Stamp n' Scraps Hawaii was yesterday! Arrrrggggh!

It's one of those weeks. . . .actually, I'm not surprised. I don't use my organizers or to do list. I have 2 organizers, a To Do List notebook and I actually bought a new organizer . . just because it was pretty. The funny thing is I don't use any of them. I think it's because I believe I'm so talented and efficient that I can keep an organizer in my head. LOL! Obviously, I'm delusional!

Okay. . .let's get down to business. Do you see the cute images and sentiments on my cards? Well, they are the new digital images and sentiments that Little C's is now selling in their store! Whoohoo!!! There's more in store and coming your way. . .I'm really excited about the new digi images that will be sold at Little C's in the future.

This cutie on my card is "Bubbles Noelani". I colored the image with my Copic Markers, cut her out and remounted her with foam tape to give the image a 3D appearance.

Do you see the border? Well, I created that by punching the SU Word Window shapes and adhering them on the card in a row. No, I didn't come up with this idea. . .it's been circulating in blog land for a while now.

With this card. . .I used Little C's "Girl Scout Noelani" digi stamp. I have a story about the Girl Scouts. My daughter joined the Girl Scouts when she was 8 years old. I was a single parent at that time and I really needed her to be influenced by positive people. I sought out people that I felt could be positive role models for my daughter because honestly, I was afraid of the sad statistics of children of divorce. Furthermore, in my daughter's case, I was deeply concerned that the death of her father in such a tragic way would effect her negatively. If you've been a follower of my blog, you already know the story so I won't get into it.

Anyway. . .being a child of divorced parents and subsequently, the death of her father was sort of like a double whammy! I wanted her to overcome the adversities that she encountered in her life and having her join the Girl Scouts was something I felt would benefit her.

Well, the Girl Scouts was the beginning of something greater for my daughter. They made her aware of the importance of community service but there was one event that she attended that made a great impact on her. She attended an excursion where they were able to touch a few dolphins and the point of the trip was to make children aware of how the environment impacts wild life.

To make a long story short. . .my daughter's career goal is to become an environmental/wild life researcher and conservationist. Right now she is majoring in biological science but her junior year in college, she will be able to decide on the specific field of concentration she wants to pursue. Her plan is to pursue a concentration in environmental and wild life science.

Through the Girl Scouts, my daughter also became involved in community service which continued on from middle school, through high school, and now in college. She found such fulfillment through them and it all started with the Girl Scouts. So. . .for parents who have young girls, I highly recommend having them join the Girl Scouts. They will come away becoming better citizens and and also find self-fulfillment. Here is a picture of my daughter in her Girl Scouts uniform. . .she was so proud wearing her uniform.

Sorry. . .back to my card. . I tend to get side tracked whenever I post something! LOL!

Again, I colored the image with my Copic Markers and colored the background with my Prismacolor pencils.

Okay. . .my post is getting pretty long so I'll end it here. Hope y'all all have a wonderful Thursday!
