Pink Cat Studio Digi Stamp Release and Envelope Pocket Card Tutorial

Hello Friends!! Guess what today is? It's the release of Pink Cat Studio Digi Stamps!!! Yay! If you don't know by now, Pink Cat Studio now sells digital stamps and there's new releases each week! Wow, that's a lot of cute images to choose from. This week it's all about owls!! Lots of them!

Be sure to stop by the Pink Cat Studio Blog to check out the fabulous cards the design team created.

Okay. . .let's begin. . .

The first project is an "Envelope Pocket Card". I didn't create a "formal" tutorial because it's a very easy project. Here are the instructions:

Materials:

Envelope (at least 2 inches taller than your card)
1 3/8" circle punch

Instructions:

Measure the height of your card.

Seal the envelope.

Cut the envelope across the top at least 1/2" taller than you card.

Punch a 1/2" circle slot on one side of the top opening to create a notch.

Decorate the envelope with border punches, designer paper, etc.

Here is the card that I made for the coordinating envelope.

I brought out my sewing machine to create the stitches and colored the image with my Copic Markers.

Card and Project Details:

Stamps: Pink Cat Studio Digi Stamps
Paper: DCWV designer paper, SU Real Red, Certainly Celery, Close to CocoaInk: Copic markers
Accessories: Grosgrain Ribbon, Fiskar Border Punch, SU Large Oval Punch, Buttons, Hemp Cord, Dew Drops

Here is another "Envelope Pocket" that I created. This time I used a "business size" #10 envelope; a taller envelope.

This is just a fun way to created a pocket or dress up your envelope. Obviously you can't send out the envelope through the mail but if you are going to give a card in person. . .how fun it is to receive a card with a pretty dressed up envelope!

Here is the card out of the pocket.

Aren't the Pink Cat Studio digi images the cutest or what!! These owls are the hoot!!

Be sure to stop by the other DT's sites and check out what they created for the release:

Alicia Weiman
Emily Leiphart
Inge Groot
Kerry Donovan-Casey
Kristen Catalano
MacKenzie Bruckler
Maria Bell
Suzanne J Dean
Tracey Cuccia
Tori Hemmingway
Vicki Garrett

Just a little info on my card. A great way to use up scrap ribbon is to cut them into 1 1/2" pieces and create a ribbon design like I did. To adhere the ribbons, I just stapled them to the card stock and added buttons.

I colored the images with my Copic Markers. That's it!!

Anyway. . .be sure to get your digi images at Pink Cat Studio! There's MANY to choose from! You'll love the options!

Hope y'all have a wonderful Friday!
