Crazy 4 Challenges C4C107

Hello Friends!  Hey it's Saturday and that means it's Crazy 4 Challenges time again!  This month Tammy will be hosting the challenges and she's kicking off World Card Making Day by coming up with a great challenge.  Not only it is a great challenge, it's an important one! The challenge is that you can make any card you want. However, find a worthwhile charity that you can donate your card(s) to after today, and follow through and DO IT! Call a local nursing home... the residents love to have cards they can send to their family members. Check with your local hospital and see if you can donate cards to their gift shop. Maybe a local senior center?

Tammy will be donating cards to "Operation Write Home" and if you want to learn more about it, stop by Crazy 4 Challenges for more details.  Also, while you're there, check out the fabulous cards the crazy gals created this week.  You may also stop by their individual blogs:

Just a little info about my card. . . .this card went through an evolution of sort.  I first started off thinking I would make a Christmas card.  I looked through a designer paper pack and saw the pretty designer paper patterns and ended up going shabby chic-ish instead.  The designer paper is from "Linen Closet" pack by DCWV.  Anyway. . .I intended to stamp and color an image but I had stopped by Jo Ann's today and bought the Tim Holtz "Mini Paper Rosettes" die set so I decided to use it rather than stamping an image.  More often than not, when I create cards, I usually will start off with one idea and completely end up making something completely different.

Anyway. .. that's it for today!  Hope you all have a wonderful Saturday!
