Halloween Cards
Hi Friends! I'm still here. . sorry I haven't posted anything for quite a while. Like most things in life, we move on to do other things but once in a while I think about the days when I blogged daily. It was fun. . it was such an important part of my life back then. Maybe one day I'll have the same feelings about blogging as I used to. I still make cards, not on a daily basis but often enough to say I still have a passion for it.
Anyway. . .I've been working on holiday cards. Today I'll share some of the Halloween cards I've made. I used my Magnolia Stamps for the images on all of my cards.
I also used my retired Stampin Up designer paper for the background paper for all of the cards. Believe it or not, I still have a bunch of the papers from 2 years ago. They're all in little pieces but still big enough to use for cards. One sheet of designer paper can sure go a long way!!
I don't have too many Halloween images. Just a few Stampin Up, Magnolia Stamps images and other brands. I really should make treat bags rather than cards for Halloween.
I colored all the images with my Copic Markers.
I think I made a few more Halloween cards. I'll share them next time.
Anyway. . .that's pretty much it for now. Maybe if I'm in the mood, I'll create another post with a few of the Christmas cards I made.
Hope you all have a fabulous day!!

Really cool, I like them. Especially the first one with the quirky bow :)
So cute!!!!!
As always, your cards are adorable! Halloween is my favorite holiday, and I have these same stamps, just too busy and too bummed to color anything. Maybe next week. I really like that purple shimmery ribbon.
Hi Maria,
I always enjoy seeing your cards, thanks for sharing!
Hi Maria,
I always enjoy seeing your cards, thanks for sharing!
These cards are adorable!
I just found your blog by accident after googling "alcohol based markers." The post I read was from Jan. 2008! I have to say that you did a fabulous job explaining what can be done and what cannot be done with the markers. I truly appreciate your efforts in writing~
I was wondering if you would next share what you use to glue your cards. You see, I also make cards, and I have used the UHU glue stick (is that the name?)and foam dots, as well as double-sided tape. I have also used "glossy accents" sometimes to glue down embellishments. I actually prefer the glue stick, but always worry about the longevity of the glue stick to keep everything together!
I would love to hear what you think! Thanks very much~

I enjoyed my visit with you!! I ♥ your card and your outlook on life.
I just had to "follow" you so not to miss anything! It would make me so happy if you would follow me too. :)
Have a beautiful week!
Lots of BIG Hugs,
Deborah

Cute!! what kind of fabric did you use for the green flower in the middle of the ribbon? Did you made it or you can buy one?
