More Cards!

Hey Friends! How many of you have a lot of scrapbook papers?  I have a million of them and I noticed the trend in card making nowadays are using less designer papers and less bows.  Well, I have too many designer papers and ribbons to go along with the trend of not using them.  I have enough of them to stock a store.  So. . ..I guess I have to continue using them . . .I have a lifetime worth of them.  LOL!  Besides I like the look of the designer papers.  It adds color and pretty design to a card.

I'm not sure the brand of rubber stamps I used for this card.  Believe it or not but I still have tons of retired Stampin Up retired designer papers.  I'm trying to use them up slowly but it'll be a while before I do.

The rubber stamped image is by Flourishes.  The designer paper is by Stampin Up

Just a simple boy Birthday card.  The rubber stamped image is by Close to My Heart.  I rarely make boy or masculine cards because it's hard for me not to use ribbons, bows, and embellishments.

Can't remember what brand rubber stamp I used for this card.

I heat embossed the owl image with black embossing powder.

This is a no stamping card.  I actually printed the sentiment from my computer.

I used a retired Stampin Up set for this card.  I heated embossed the flowers and added iridescent paint to add the dots in the center of the flowers.

That's it for today.  I'm thinking maybe I'll start blogging regularly again.  I sometimes miss blogging.  It's something I'll think about.  Hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday!

You do what you do best. Forget the trends. Your use of papers of all colors and designs is what I love. Follow your own trends Maria. I betcha others are following you, too.

Glad to see you back Maria. I still subscribe in the hopes that you will blog. Your cards are always so beautiful, and it would be a treat to have you back blogging. Yes indeed the trend seems to be less bows and more CAS.
