Bling Bling Card & Little C's Weekly Challenge #10
Hey Everyone!! It's Little C's Weekly Challenge #10! Whoohoo! This week's challenge is to create a long card that fits into a #10 envelope (business size 9 1/4 x 4"). I had all these ideas swirling in my head on what to create and if I have the time in the next few days, maybe I'll create another card. Be sure to stop by Jen's at "Pieces of Me" for the details. There's a prize to be given out so I hope to see you playing along!!

It looks like I had used acrylic paint when I stamped the images then covered them with clear glitter. I figured considering they were already blingy. . .to bling them up more by adding rhinestones. Ahhh, why not, right? I also added the Prima flowers. . .I have a lot of them so I decided that I needed to use them up.
Do you like playing with embellishments? I love embellishments on my card but at the same time I don't like to crowd my card with too many of them. But there are days, like today, when I decided to just let go and add as many as I can on one card. LOL! Besides, it's a change from my typical straight forward cards.
He'll try to bring me down to Earth and try to talk me out of my crazy thoughts. .LOL! My husband says that I have "chronic boredom syndrome". I think he made that diagnosis up.
Accessories: Darice Rhinestones, Marvy Oval punch, Prima Flowers, Making Memories Ribbon

Beautiful card !
Love your blingy bling card Maria! I think that there no such thing as too much bling... there is always room for more -- there are times when I need to put the Stickles down because otherwise the whole card would get covered in stickly goodness :) LOL! Love your layout and love those colors together - very cool,
thanks for your sweet comment on the Transition post ... it is really amazing to read his blog - I feel so inspired by life ... puts everything in perspective somehow...
i have been wanting to write you a long and detailed email Maria - sorry for dropping out of the loop a bit and being a bad blogging friend... you are such an inspiration - hope that you are having a great tuesday! sending you a ton of love and sunshine :)
Sankari :)
I think it's the perfect amount of blingy-ness! Reminds me of 2 things: really sugary cake frosting, and snow. Ooooh, what a good idea for a card - using pointsettias instead of flowers! I'll have to tuck that thought away for later use! LOL
I really like both cards but your answer to Little C's challenge is fabulous!
Oh my word these cards are gorgeous! I love the colors you used in the hearts card and you sure pulled off elegant!
Great job on the challenge, Maria. I love your very elegant card. It's just so gorgeous!! I love how yours turned out... just very sweet. Love the colors you chose!! I have to agree with you that this week's challenge was extra FUN!!! I am thinking about doing another one myself - if of course I have the time.
Your bling card is just so pretty!!! I love bling, and love that you've used so many on your card. Just so pretty!!! Thanks for sharing both of these. You are awesome!!!

Jen

Both of these cards are fantastic. I love the bling you used, classy not shinny. Love them.
Heather
oh I love them both, but that long card is too stinning.

I really like both of these cards! The flowers are really pretty! I totally understand the getting bored with cards thing! I have found that I prefer paper 'projects' over cards!
O mY gosh your stuff is just beautiful!!
