The Greeting Farm "One Layer" Challenge Contest
Hey Friends!! The Greeting Farm has a new challenge! This week's it's a "one layer" challenge!! Here are the details:
Rules: Ok simple rules here: No Layering! Basically looking for just one card stock, folded. But you may use ribbons and embellishments. If you find this extremely impossible, I will allow you to do one layer if you decide to paper piece. But that's it! Please post your entry in the Galleria under Contests/Challenges/No Layers.
Deadline: Wednesday, June 17th
Prize: Your choice of 3 stamp sets!
Oh my. . .3 stamp sets! You better play along because 3 stamp sets is the BOMB!!
You're like . . .your card is not one layer! It is. . .my card base is a double sided designer paper. Because you're able to use embellishments . . .I used all the flowers to create the lei around my "Sing" image. There's no "layering" otherwise. You're allowed to paper piece. . .I actually paper pieced the "Sing" image to the designer paper rather than paper piecing the designer paper on to the image so my card do "qualify" as a one layer card. LOL!! Hey. . .this evening my daughter graduates from high school! Oh my gosh. . .how exciting! I'm going to have a busy day. . .I need to take photos of my daughter before she heads to the school. I'll take a whole bunch and I'll post them tomorrow.

Well you hit this one out of the ball field (that's a good thing!) :) LOL ... awesome job with the "Non-Layering" --- it's really gorgeous with those flowers and your coloring is really perfect, you know that right?! Great card!! I would never have thought to do this to make a one layer look so rich in details etc.
