Inky Impressions and SCS Challenge Try a New Technique - TLC228

Hi Friends! Whoohoo! I participated in another SCS Challenge - Try a New Technique - TLC228. The technique is called "Stand Up Card". The card looks complicated but it isn't. . .actually it is super EASY! I love this technique. I think I'm going to make another Stand Up Card. . .it's such a fun card to create!

I decided to use my Inky Impressions stamp "Lili's Secret". She is such a cutie and so fun to color! Inky Impressions has a new challenge every Wednesday at the Inky Impressions Challenge site. . .this week's challenge is "Distress Your Work". . .it's not my week to create a project for the challenge so my card isn't "distressed" but if you want to play along. . .stop by the Inky Impressions Challenge site and play along.

I colored Lili with my Copic Markers and added a rhinestone flower design over the image.

Here is the back of the card. This would be considered the "inside" of your card. When closed, the card fits into a standard envelope.

I'm going to be gone all day today and won't be back until this evening. My daughter has her college orientation and parents are required to attend.

I'll miss the Michael Jackson memorial. I think I'll have to TiVo it. Are you folks going to watch it?

Anyway. . .try out this technique. . .I guarantee you will LOVE it. . .it's super easy and so fun to create.
