Mini Card Making Marathon
Hey Friends! In between cleaning, organizing, grocery shopping, picking up and dropping off my daughter for school, and other things, I managed to squeeze in some time to do a mini card marathon. I would take mini breaks and work on the sets of cards.
No shabby chic or vintage creations today. . .:) My goal for these cards were to use stamps I haven't used or never wanted to use and use up some ribbons I've had stashed for quite some time.
Do you like yellow? I'm not a big yellow fan but lately all my cards have been in pink so I decided that I needed to do something different. There's nothing much to discuss about my card. I added a bit of glitter to the image to add a little pizzaz to the card. Glitter always work in jazzing up a card.
Sometimes when I make a card or most times when I make a card, I do it flying at the seat of my pants. . .no plan or anything. . .sometimes it works, sometimes not. With this card, I thought the card was a bit too simple so I grabbed the closest border punch and punched the edge of the card. That worked in making a plain card look less plain.
I added a little rose to complete the card. Nothing much else to the card.
Anyway, I'm sorta ADHD. . .I have an apron, pin cushions, and other projects half completed, my hallway is a mess, my garage organization still not complete but I did manage to do the laundry and wash the dishes yesterday. My mind is swirling with a lot of fun projects I want to work on but haven't been able to start on. I badly want my garage organization to be done. . .I'm really tired of working on it. Whenever I walk into the garage, I get a bit depressed looking at what I still need to do. Ugggh! But, life is good. . .I'm actually blessed that I'm able to do what I want and do it when I want to so I'm not really complaining. I just wish I had more time to do all the things I need and want to do.
Well, I hope you all are having a wonderful Wednesday!

Super cute cards...I have been using a ton of pink lately. So glad Valentine's is over, lol!
What a fun card marathon...I really ought to try something like that too :) I love the yellow-orangey set especially!
Love the card sets, sometimes it's fun to jump out of my comfort zone and work with something new or never touched. I can relate with being overwhelmed by everything. I either feel guilty, thinking I should be doing stuff around the house~ or I do sit down and play and it seems like my house falls apart!
Hugs :)
Wow. love all the cards! I wish there was more time in the day also! Bug Hugs!
The yellow card is what I like! Very nice and the color is so positive.
