RAK from Monika and a Girlfriend Card
Good Saturday, Everyone!! Whoohoo! Check out this AWESOME RAK I received from Monika of M.A.D Stamper!! Isn't that chickee the cutest! It's an honor to receive an awesome card from such a talented artist.
If you've never visited Monika's site. . .well, it's a must! Her cards are unique and always elegant and beautiful. She also post instructions to her cards so you can learn a lot by visiting her blog site.
Thank you Monika! I love your card!! Love the flowers and all the brads! Great DP too! Everything is awesome about your card. It's gratefully appreciated!!
Here's a card I made today. It was a easy card created all day! LOL! Are you that way too? I'm a terrible multi-tasker but nonetheless, I multi-task all the time especially when I craft.
Here is the process that I went through to make this card. I colored the image earlier today, stopped, picked up my kid's from a can food drive they participated in for the Key Club.
After coming home, I cut up the image and stamped the flowers, stopped and went downstairs to cut up the meat for dinner and threw it into the pot to boil. I ran upstairs and stamped the sentiment, punched the circles, stopped, checked my email, then ran downstairs to stir my boiling meat. I then ran back upstairs to put the laundry inside the washing machine, started up the dryer for the other set of laundry. I then walked back into my craft room to finish up the card. LOL! That is why this easy card became an all day affair.
I rarely make a card in one sitting. I probably could make a bunch of cards in a day if it wasn't for the interruptions.
My husband is going on a business trip and will be gone for a week and my kids are returning to school on Monday. I think I'll have less interruptions because I'll be alone. I can get a lot done when I'm by myself. We'll see.

Love the layout and colors of your girlfriend card.
I LOVE that stamp set from CTMH! I use it so much! I especially like it with the Stylin' paper!
Your card turned out beautifully!
very cute!!! and yes, I am totally like you when it comes to crafting. not like we have a choice to multi task or not, right? it's just in our nature... always dropping our crafty things whenever something else for the family comes up. it's ok though, I'm sure we wouldn't have it any other way....
lovely creation. the woman on this card reminds me of Mary Poppins....
have a great Sunday!!
aloha,
Jen
Great sketch Maria! I'm like you, rarely create a card in one sitting. but I think that's actually worked well because it gives my brain time to process and look at a card at each session with fresh eyes. Thanks for your blog, it's great!

Both the RAK and your card are Beautiful!!
I rarely make a card in one sitting ...like you ..too many things to do..but like Stampmom..I think helps me to get a better perspective on what I'm doing.
Love the colors and layout for this one. I totally understand about the interruptions - between kids and DH this weekend, I didn't think I was going to be able to complete anything! DH is working on my new stamp room though, so he is allowed to interrupt! Have a good day.
Thank you Maria for showcasing my card... and your kind words. :o) Great card! Love the sketch, the colors and the flower peeking out in the BG... TFS!
Used your sketch for the SCS Limited Supplies challenge -- check it out: http://stampmom.blogspot.com/2008/04/double-challenge-card.html
