Jen's LIttle C's Challenge #3

Hi Everyone!! I created this project last night for Jen's Little C's Challenge #3 . . .wanna play? Well, stop by Jen's blog site "Pieces of Me" for the details!! Isn't the little girl image such a cutie or what? Well it's a Sarah Kay stamp "Precious Moments" that I bought at Jen's store Little C's Stamps n' Things. This brand of stamps are sooooooooo darn cute. . .I want them all.

Jen's challenge is to alter something. . .well, as I was reorganizing my craft room (yes, I'm still at it). . .I found a bunch of candles that I bought on sale a while ago and I thought "oooh, this will be a fun item to alter".

Anyway. . .I colored the Sarah Kay image with my Copic Markers, cut it out and mounted it on a K&Co designer paper which was cut with my Nestabilities Classic Oval Scallop die. I then tied an organdy ribbon around the candle and hung a metal charm with a silver metallic cord. That's basically it.

Check out the other projects for this challenge from these talented ladies:

Since we're on the subject of altering something. . .I bought this iron bodice thingy a few days at a store that sells all kinds of really cool home decor stuff. It was only $12.00 so I decided to buy it. When I saw it, I thought it would be perfect for my craft room.

I have a lot of scrap piece of ribbons stuffed in a jar but I really hate digging through it to look for a ribbon that I want to use for a project. I thought this iron thingy would be a perfect item to hang my small scrap ribbons.

LOL! This is what I did with my scrap ribbons. I decided to decorate the iron thingy with the ribbons. I didn't have enough small pieces to cover up the dress but now I can see what scrap ribbons I have. All I have to do is pull them off when I need them. Whoohoo!

By the way, today is my birthday!! I'm a Leo. . .can you tell? Nah, not really huh. . .but I can be commanding and demanding when it comes to house cleaning. I can roar pretty loudly when my kid's don't clean up!! Other than that, I'm a pussy cat.

To celebrate my birthday we're going to see "The Mummy" then eat at a nice restaurant. That's it. My husband took the day off so we can see an early show.

Well, hope y'all have a wonderful day! I have a big announcement tomorrow so be sure to stop by, okay!
