Litlle C's Weekly Challenge #4 and Mulberry Paper Card

Hi Everyone! It's challenge time again!! I created this card for Jen's Little C's Weekly Challenge #4! This week's challenge is to create a card using the sketch below. It's actually my sketch this week! Whoohoo! Anyway. . .for those who are not familiar with Jen's challenges. . .she has a has a challenge each week, starting from Tuesday and ends on Sunday. She gives out a prize for the lucky winner. Hey, if you're going to create a card. . .might as well play along and have a chance to win a prize.

I used the Rachel Ann Miller stamp that you can find at Little C's Stamps n' Things. Oh, gosh this image is so darn cute. I think all the Rachel Ann Miller images are cute. I need to get more of them. Currently, I only have two of them but I plan on getting more of them.

I colored the image with my Copic Markers. I sort of messed up my coloring but I fixed it but it got rid of my shading and highlighting of the image. I had used the wrong color shade while coloring the image so I had to color over it and over it and over it. LOL! I hate when that happens.

Check out the other cards created by these talented ladies:

Jen - Pieces of Me
Teri
- Big Ideas from A Little Girl
Jean - Stamping Spot Studio
Lori - Love to Dream. . . .Skyz Da Limit
Ellie - Adventures With Scrapbook Mama
Risa - Life's Simple Pleasure

Card Details:

Stamps: Rachel Ann Miller, Fiskar
Paper: SU Eggplant Envy, Lavendar Lace, Wild Wasabi, Beige (unknown)
Ink: Copic Markers, SU Eggplant Envy, SU Pastels, Sakura Souffle Pen
Accessories: CB Embossing Folders, Fiskar scallop scissors, SU Ticket Corner Punch

I actually made this card the other night. I don't know the brand of the stamp because I had colored this image a while ago.

Remember those "mulberry papers" that were popular a few years ago. . . well, I decided to use them. Even Stampin Up used to sell these mulberry papers a few years back. Well, this is another material that I have a lot of and found them when I was cleaning out my craft room .

Hey, we should start a trend. . .let's all make cards with these mulberry papers and after a lot of people start to see cards made with this paper, they'll think that it's a new thing and will start making cards with them! LOL!!

Isn't that how it works? Isn't that how trends start? I'm seeing a lot of old techniques and old materials beginning to become popular again but a lot of people think they're new stuff. . .then the companies start to sell them again because they notice people are making more cards and projects with them. Since I have a lot of these mulberry papers. . .I want it to become a hot trend again. LOL!
