Tilda Window Card

Hi Friends!! I was meaning to craft and visit my blog friends yesterday but well, we had a small emergency . . .I had to bring my husband to the ER. We were at the hospital for 4 hours but after a battery of tests. . .it turne out to be nothing serious.

I wasn't able to spend any time crafting as I had hoped to do. Luckily, I created this card the other night so I had something to post today! LOL! Thank goodness for those "rainy day" cards.

Do you see the ribbon? Well. . .if you purchase adhesive ribbons. . .it's easy to create the bow because the back of the ribbon has adhesive and allows you to stick the center of the bow together and wrap the ribbon around the center to create this type of bow. You can create the same effect by adding transfer tape to the back of a non-adhesive ribbon.

Nothing much to say about this card. . .I had cut an oval window with my oval Nestie and had Tilda sit in the center. I lined the inside of the card base with designer paper so it would show nicely through the window.

I'm going to make this post short. . .it's late and I need to go to bed. I'm pre-posting this card. . LOL!

Anyway, I hope you all have a wonderful Tuesday. I hope my day will be free today and I can find time to stop by your blogs and say hello!!

Card details:

Stamps: Magnolia Tilda
Paper: K&Co designer paper, SU More Mustard
Ink: Copic markers, Scribbles Iridescent Paint
Accessories: Marvy flower punch, Nestabilies, DCWV Adhesive ribbon, Prima flower

Maria, first of all, thank goodness everything is fine with your husband. It's always better to be safe than sorry...I've been through this several times with my husband. Lucky thing patience is a virtue and we all seem to have lots of that right? Anyway, on to your card, I think this is just beautiful. Simple but beautiful with the embossing and coloring, and the Tilda you have colored, cut out and adhered to the window. Lovely idea and something I think I can handle so don't be surprised if a card similar to this pops up on my blog LOL! Get a good night's rest and I'll be waiting to see what you create tomorrow. Blessings to your family. Hugs, Cami
