CPS Challenge - CPS123 and SU Polka Dot Punches

Hi Friends! This is my second post for the day! I actually buckled down and created a card! LOL! I saw the CPS challenge - CPS123 and decided to participate. I really liked the sketch. I'm not much of a challenge sort but I'm beginning to find them helpful in getting me out of my creative routine.

I bought the SU Polka Dot Punches stamp set during the Sell-a-bration sale and like all the stamps I buy, they remain in the box and don't ink them up. I'm systematically going through my Stampin Up stamp sets and using the ones I haven't inked since buying them.

Just a little bit about my card. . .I stamped the images with SU craft ink and heat embossed them. Using a sponge dauber, I dabbed colors to the images using SU Tempting Turquoise and I believe Brilliant Blue for the background. For the flower on the main panel, I sponged Riding Hood Red and the heart, well, I had to color them with red gel pen because initially I tried to outline the swirls but it turned out ugly so I just colored in the whole image.

Anyway, stop by the CPS challenge site. . .the sketch is fantastic.

Hope y'all have a wonderful day!
