I-{heart}-2stamp Sketch Challenge

Hi Friends!! I had grand plans for the summer thinking I'll have a lot of free time to craft and it turns out, I haven't really been able to craft as often as I would like to. I guess being free doesn't really translate to just hanging out in my craft room. . . .it's more like I'm free, I should be doing other things . . .which I've been doing. It's nice. . .I've been spending a lot of time with my daughter and husband.

Last night we went to see the new Harry Potter movie. It was a good movie if you like the Harry Potter series. My husband and daughter are into the Harry Potter movies. I think they've seen each of the movies at least 5 times or more. They're always asking me to sit down and watch the movies with them and I always decline. I don't know. . .I can't watch a movie more than once unless the first time, I didn't pay attention to details and need to go back to see what I missed. Are you the type that can watch a movie more than once and still have the same experience or are you like me, watching a movie once is enough?

Okay. . .now to my card, I decided to participate in the i-{heart}-2stamp Sketch Challenge! This is my first time to participate in Jen's challenge. I really loved the sketch so I decided to play along!!
Do you see the image? Well, I had colored it way back when. . .I can't even remember when. I colored it back when I was using my SU Markers to color my images. I actually watercolored the image using the markers. If you look at the image closely, I colored the image on watercolor paper.

Anyway. . .right now I'm working on scrappy cards. . .I'm trying to focus on reducing my scrap pile and using materials that I threw in a bin . . .scrap stuff. I'll post a few of the cards I made later today. Hope you all have a wonderful Thursday!

Card Details:

Stamps: Inkadinkado
Paper: DCWV Designer Paper, SU Melon Mambo, Pretty in Pink
Ink: SU Markers, Scribbles Iridescent Paint

I love Harry Potter and can hardly wait to see the movie! I don't often watch movies more than once. and quite often I hardly remember it a week later. There are a few that I really like I'll watch again and again but not many.....

What a cute card. I love that stamp. So sweet. I love the colors you used on the card and that big sweet ribbon. I need to work on my left over pile as well. Right now it is hidden under a table. Lots of good stuff in there. I am so glad that you are having fun with your family.
