Inky Impressions Challenge #6 - A Stitch In Time

Hey Friends! Guess what today is? Well, it's the Inky Impressions Challenge! Yipee! The challenge is to add stitches to your card. . .real or faux. . .it doesn't matter . . just stitch it up! Well, I went all out with my stitching! LOL! I took this challenge seriously, can't you tell? You can't miss my stitches!

It's sort of funny because the only time I use my sewing machine is when I need to create stitches to my cards. I really should use it for it is intended for. Maybe one day I'll learn to sew. LOL!

I feel like my summer is moving through so quickly. I can't believe it's already midway through July already. There's so many things I want to do but my daughter starts summer school in 2 weeks. Bummers. She's taking a prep English course so that she'll be up to par when she starts her fall classes

That's okay. . .too long of a summer isn't good. Kids get lazy during the summer and have difficulties starting up in the fall. It's best that she don't get too comfortable. LOL!

Anyway. . now, to my card. I colored Inky Impressions "Lili's Secret" with my Copic Marker. The dots on the heart and the photo corner was created using Scribbles Iridescent Paint.

You can play along with the challenge too. . .stop by the Inky Impressions store and purchase their stamps and you can hop on board! If you have the Inky Impressions stamps, be sure to stop by the challenge site and play along

Be sure to stop by the Inky Impressions Challenge blog and check out the awesome samples that the DT created

Inky Impressions will be announcing their second DT Call some time this week so be sure to check in sometime this week at the Inky Impressions blog site for the details!

Paper: Stitched paper(?), DCWV designer paper, SU Lavendar Lace, Brilliant Blue

Photo of the Day
Asian Pose - Devilish

Yesterday my daughter and I decided to drive around town to take photos but for the life of me could not find anything that inspired me. In the end we ended up at the duck pond park. We just hung out and I took pictures of the ducks and my daughter. Southern California is so dry right now . . .everything is brown. . Ugggh!

I came across this strange website called "Asian Poses". I was cracking up because it shows photos of people with different poses usually for their MySpace, Facebook or mobile phones. Go check out the site. It's totally hilarious! I told my daughter to pose for me! The photo above shows her doing a "devil" pose. LOL! We were cracking up as she was doing the different poses while I took photos of her. These poses are so stinkin' silly!
