Rachel Ann Miller Card

Hi Friends! Wow, it's Friday already. I can't believe how time is flying so quickly. I created this card a few weeks ago and never posted it. I had it sitting as a pre-post but had forgotten its existence. LOL! I have to be honest. . .since returning from my Disneyland trip, I think my mojo is still in Disneyland. I really haven't been able to get off of vacation mode.

Remember a few months ago, I said I was returning to college. Well, I think my plans may change. I inquired about the Arts program at the University of California and they informed me that due to the California's budget cuts, they weren't accepting new students for the 2009 - 2010 school year.

The counselor advised that I apply for the Masters in Arts program instead because I'll have a better chance of getting accepted and don't recommend the 2nd Bachelors degree route. She said that I should take a few art and photography classes in the meantime and submit a portfolio. I don't want a MA. I don't have any plans to be an expert in art or become a curator at a museum. So much for my grand plans. I may still take a few classes at the community college level and get a certification instead. Hopefully, by fall next year, they'll begin accepting new students into their arts program. I'm a bit disappointed by all of this but oh, well.

Now to my card. . . I forgot to highlight and shade my image when I was coloring with my Copic Markers. I think it still looks okay, huh? Nothing much else to the card.

I'll try to get back into my crafting mood today. Hopefully, there won't be too many interruptions today.

Hope you all have a wonderful day!
