Blog Candy Challenge Day 1

Don't forget to drop by Card Inspired for that site's challenge

Good Morning Everyone! I'm sorry that this blog candy challenge is a little late but my Internet server flaked out on me this morning - AGAIN! Saturdays are the worst day to go on the Internet. Anyway, the clear stamps above is the first prize to go into the prize bucket. It's a stamp set by Hampton Arts "Art Warehouse" design. No, it's not the only prize for this blog candy. . .each day I will post a picture of each prize that will be accumulated for the next 5 days and ONE lucky winner will win all of them. It's sort of fun to see what prize you can receive each day if you play along. I got this idea from Angel at "Angelosity" when she was doing a blog candy for her birthday. I thought the idea was so ingenious.

Okay. . .now to the challenge! Before I tell you what it is. . .my two blog sites have different challenges, therefore you have two chances each day to add your name to the blog candy bucket! I will be drawing the name of the winner out of this bucket on December 6th. There will only be one winner of the blog candy prize even if you participated on both sites. Participating on both sites just provides you more entries! Don't worry the challenges will be easy so you won't have to work so hard to enter your name.

Day 1 Blog Candy Challenge for today is. . . .

"Provide a link to a blogger whom you feel is very talented but is not recognized in the capacity that they should."

There are so many talented artist/bloggers out there but because there are so many bloggers, they sort of get lost in the crowd. I've come across many talented artist in blogland but noticed that because they are not as well known in the stamping or crafting community, their blog sites are not as recognized as others that are active on design teams or what not.

Choose an artist that you feel creates unique, innovative, and awe inspiring work but whose blog site is not as recognized as they should be. You have until December 5th to link your "inspiring artist/blogger" . Post a comment on this post with the link of the blogger. I will add all the links to this post as I receive them so you can visit these chosen bloggers and check out their awesome creations!
UPDATE
Here's a few links of inspiring artist/bloggers that you have chosen so far. I'll add the links as I receive them!

Please link bloggers that are not very well known. Indications would be the amount of visitors to their site, not being part of a design team, not a lot of comments, etc. I want to highlight artist/bloggers that need a bit of recognition for their inspiring work and for some reason or another may not have the recognition they deserve.

Just a few cards I made last night

Sick of House Mouse Cards? Sorry, I'm planning to make more of them. I want to use all of the Christmas House Mouse stamps that I bought last year. Some of which, by the way, have never been inked. This year, I promised myself that I will use them no matter what!!

I colored the image using the "Coloring with Pastel and SU Markers" technique. If you haven't seen it yet, I created a tutorial for it the other day. Scroll down to the previous day!

I colored the bird using "Twinkling H20". The bird is sparkly looking in person.

Nothing much else to the card. I made another card below using the same image but using a different layout!

Everything about the image is exactly the same as the first card.

Wow...great question Maria! Gosh, I look at so many...it is so hard to pick one. I honestly have always thought (and this is not for brownie points esp. since I am post #1) that you were underrated...just those sketches of yours everyday blow the mind! Since I want to inform you of someone you might not know, I will offer up another: http://melstampz.blogspot.com/. Gosh, this was harder than you know!

Yeah this is tough...so I am going to go with my friend Diane who is my other daily blog dose, Diane is very talented and posts a project just about everyday, she rarely skips! Check her out here: http://stampwithdiane.blogspot.com/
I also agree with with Allison, you are very underrated, and fabulous!

I always have to be different! This isn't a Stampin' Up! website, but it's a fascinating blog all the same. It's called "Things Look Like Things" and it's all about how things in nature look like other things. Beautiful and very unusual photography - http://tlltworld.blogspot.com/

It was hard to chose just one! There are many talented bloggers who are not greatly recognized, you included. If I have to chose just one, I would say Laurie Schmidlin at:

too cool!!! Three of the blogs on your list are already in my google reader!! Gotta love it. I had ahard time picking who to "nominate. I went to my Google Reader stats to see which blog I had starred the most. Of the top three, I want to nominate my cyberpal SAndy. Not only does she make fantastic cards and 3D projects, but she donates a ton of her time and talent to making and corrdinating cards for soldiers. you have got to check her out!! She deserves way more recognition that she gets. Check her out at It's A Colorful World.

No...I really like visiting this blogger here: http://www.stamping-therapy.blogspot.com/ It was hard to pick just that one, but I really like her work and it doesn't look like she has millions of comments like others I could have chosen.
