Random Card - Current Stamps Set! Yay!

Good Evening, Folks. I'm finally using a current stamp set! You say. . .hmmmph, it's about time. I know, I know.

I have a few current sets that I did purchase but they're all mixed up alphabetically with some of my retired stamp sets. I didn't put away any of the stamp sets that retired from the last catalog so I just pick a stamp set from the pile to use whether it's current or not.

Well, today. . .I happen to come across the "Pick-a-Petal" stamp set and decided to use it.

I wasn't sure what to create with this stamp set. I wanted to do something different so I decided to create a lady bug with the flower petals rather than creating a flower. I actually like how it came out. Initially, I wasn't sure how a lady bug looked. . .whether it had an antenna or not so I went on the Internet to look for an image of a lady bug and sure enough it had an antenna. Not exactly how I created the antenna on my ladybug but I figure a swirly one would look okay. Nothing much to this card but stamping and cutting out the images and mounting them on the card.

I want to make another card but I have to head out to tennis lessons and probably won't be back until 9:00 this evening so I probably won't have the time to make another card. Hope y'all are having a nice evening!!

Maria, I love both the cards you have done with the Pick a petal stamp set. Your cleaver butterfly is a great idea. I will have to try that in my class next week. Hope you are feeling better.
