Crazy 4 Challenges - C4C76

Hello Friends!! Gosh, I've been slacking in my crafting and blogging the past two weeks! Yesterday was the first time in the past week and a half that I felt "normal". My head is still a bit stuffy but otherwise, I finally have my energy back. It sucks to be sick but I'm so happy that I'm on my way to recovery. . .:) I actually have a bunch of unfinished crochet and sewing projects that I need to finish and share with ya' all!! Hopefully, I'll be able to complete them this week.

Well, it's Saturday and you know what that means! It's Crazy 4 Challenges time again. Before I begin, I would like to bid Angela, one of the crazy gals at C4C, farewell! She is stepping down as a designer at C4C to spend more time with her family but she will still be in blogland. You can visit her at Angelwood's Crafting Corner

This week's challenge is hosted by Angela and her challenge is a fun one again! The challenge is to create a card with flowers. Yay! I love flowers! Before I talk about my card, be sure to stop by C4C and check out the fabulous cards the design team created or stop by their individual blogs!!

I had a ton of ideas for this card challenge. I have a few fabric and crochet flowers that I created, a ton of Primas, and I even thought of creating felt flowers but I decided because I don't stamp as often as I once did, I felt that I should stamp a flower instead.

I stamped the image, heat embossed the image with a holographic embossing powder, cut the flower and layered it to give it a 3D effect. To jazz it up a bit, I added a bead pin that I created and attached a charm to it.

Just to let you know the image and sentiment is from the Stampin Up "Fabulous Flowers" stamp set. I also heat embossed the sentiment but you can't really see it in the picture.

I have major catching up to do!!!! Chores, organization, crafting. . .I'm so behind on life! Ugggh!

Anyway, that's it for today! I hope ya' all have a fabulous Saturday!
