Mini Card Marathon

Hello Friends!! I seem to be developing a pattern. . .I don't create or post anything from Sunday through Tuesday. LOL! Actually, I'm still getting over my cold. It's been going on longer than I anticipated but I felt better today so I decided to work on a few cards. Because I'm so behind on my crafting, I decided to do a mini card marathon again.

My goal actually is to use a few stamps that I haven't used for a very long time and ultimately sell them. I just don't stamp as often as I once did and I feel there's no point in holding on to some of my stamps when I probably won't get around to using them. I've always been hesitant to let go of my stamps because I'm afraid that I'm going to want to use them and they'll be gone but there are so many other projects that I want to work on that realistically, it's not possible to use all the stamps I have.

This image is a very old Close to My Heart stamp. I decided to watercolor the image instead of coloring with my Copic Markers. Watercoloring is so much faster than coloring with Copics. Lately, I've been really impatient when it comes to coloring my images. I don't want to spend a lot of time coloring an image. I once loved just sitting down and color images and I took my time doing so but nowadays, when I make a card, I want to finish it quickly so I can move on to other things.

Here is another card set that I worked on. Again, I colored my images with watercolors but went over parts of the image with my Copic Markers. I added a bit of glitter to the umbrella.

Anyway, I hope my stuffy head will be over and done with soon. I actually went to bed at 8:00 last night which happens very rarely. I typically go to bed after 10:00 but I've been feeling a bit exhausted because of my cold. Ugggh!!

Okay, well that's it for today! Hope you all are having a wonderful Wednesday evening!
