Polymer Clay Heart Earring

Hi Friends!!! I made these earrings last night and I was suppose to post it this morning but boy, the day got away from me again. I can't believe how quickly the day went by. . .I remember just waking up! What the heck?

I made the heart charms using polymer clay and glitter embossing powders. I was experimenting to see if I could just press the embossing powder onto the unbaked clay and bake it and by golly, it worked! It kinda looks like a stone finish! I love it. I need a little bit more practice but I think this set turned out okay. I actually made a bunch of them and I'm currently working on a matching necklace for this pair of earrings.

I also made a few mixed pink, blue and gold ones. I'll see if I can create a few earrings with them. I can't wait to get better at creating projects with polymer clay. Gosh, the ones I see on the Internet are absolutely gorgeous. I want to be good like those artsy people. Right now, I just need a bit more practice but I'll keep at it! I'm having a lot of fun so it doesn't matter I guess. That's the important thing. . .enjoying what you're doing. . :)
