Jen's Sham Battle Sunday Challenge
Hey folks. . .jus' a card I made for Jen's "Pieces of Me "Sham Battle Sunday Challenge". The challenge is to make a card without a sentiment but it has to be obvious what the card is for. I had to join in this challenge.
Nothing much to this card. I'm still working on getting rid of my scrap pile. It's getting harder to come up with something nice because the scrap pieces are getting smaller.
I colored the image using Prismacolor Markers and watercolored over parts of the colored area with SU Watercolor Crayons. Why? Well, I have only 24 markers, therefore, limited in the different shades of a color group. In order to create, say a darker orange, I have to go over it with the watercolor in a darker orange shade. I like using markers because the results are more vibrant than watercolors.
Card Details
Stamp Set: Happy Haunting
Ink: Prismacolor Markers and SU Watercolor Crayons
Paper: Only Orange, Black, DCWV Fall Stack
Accessories: Grosgrain Ribbons, JoAnn Eyelets
