Christmas Cards for Angel's (Angelosity) Blog Candy/Challenge
Good morning everyone! Everyday when I wake up in the morning, I have a list of goals that I write down. Yesterday's goal was to catch up on Angel's (Angelosity) Blog Candy/Challenge. As always, I never seem to meet any of my goals. Something unexpected or unplanned always creep up to undermine my goals.
Well, I did not catch up with all the sketches yesterday so I'll try again today. I managed only to do 2 cards yesterday.
The card to the left are stamped with SU "Merry". I stamped the images using Versamark and heat embossed them with "Peacock" by Ozark Candles and Crafts. I bought the embossing powder from a rubber stamp store in Hawaii. The embossing powder is like a glittery teal color. I used Liquid Applique to puff up parts of the image.
The cardstock color combo is I believe Pixie Pink or Pink Passion (not sure) and Sage Shadow. The ribbon is by American Craft Elements.
The card was created using Angel's sketch #27: Click Here for the sketch. I just realized that I didn't follow the sketch completely but I was close enough.
This is the 2nd card I made last night. I stamped the image from the SU "Season's Sketches" and the sentiment "A Christmas Wish" sets using Versamark then heat embossed the image with SU Gold embossing powder. I added Stickles glitter the image.
The cardsotck color combo is Real Red, Close to Cocoa, Old Olive and a mellow moss color by Serendipity. I embossed the cardstock using the CB Snowflake embossing folder. The ribbon is a ribbon I bought at Big Lot and the rhinestones is by Darcie. I rubbed SU "Close to Cocoa" ink over the edge and the embossed images.
This card was created using Sketch #15: Click here for the sketch
