Crazy 4 Challenges - C4C94

Hello Friends! Happy Saturday!!! It's Crazy 4 Challenges time again and Cindy came up with a super fun challenge once again! This week's challenge is to create a "summer themed" card. Well it's definitely summer here where I live! It's been really hot. . .sometimes over 100 degrees!

I haven't been blogging or creating much lately. I'm in the middle of re-organizing my craft room. I've finally "had it" after a slat board leaning against my wall fell and hit me over the head and knocked over an organizer filled with beads that ended up spilling beads all over my desk and floor. Can you imagine picking up all these beads and reorganizing them again; it was a mess!

Anyway, because I'm reorganizing, I could not find any of my "summer themed" stamps so I decided to create a card with summer colors instead! Whoa! Bright you say? Yeah. . .lots of orangey colors on my card! It's definitely a summer color!! I colored the image with my Copic Markers then added a whole bunch of embellishments.

Sometimes I'm a little stingy when adding embellishments to my cards. I usually use only one or two flowers but I have soooooooo many of them that I decided that from now on I'm gonna load up my cards with embellishments just so I can use them up. I added a few layered Primas, die cut leaves, a bow, and SU Filigree designer brad with a dew drop to the center.

I also cut the filigree type of shape using my Spellbinders die and finally adding a large ric rac and stitched ribbon. That's about it!

Anyway. . .that's it for today. Hopefully, I'll be able to clear out a few of the mess I created in my craft room and start crafting again. My plan is to reorganize my room slowly, section by section rather than doing it all at once.
