Showing Off My Clean Garage

Hi Everyone! I'm sorry gang but I can't post the Twinkling H2O video tutorial. My computer is acting up and I've been having problems loading the video. Besides, when I looked at video after I was done with it, my light source reflected on the white cardstock and you can barely see the image that I was coloring which happen to be this girl image on my card.

I was pretty annoyed that I created the video and it didn't come out the way I wanted it. I have to find an alternative light source because the lamp light that I'm using isn't working very well with my tutorials.

Anyway, a little info on my card. Again, I colored the image using Twinkling H2O but I did use Copic Markers for the lace trimming on girl's dress. I also drew in the candle because the stamp image did not have a candle.

Card Details:

Stamp: Love you To Bits, Hero Arts (sentiment)
Paper: SU Garden Green, Rose Red (not sure), White, Watercolor Paper
Ink: Twinkling H2O, Copic Markers
Accessories: CB Embossing Folder, Pebbles Inc. (ribbon), Prima Flowers, JoAnn Scrap Essentials (heart brad)

I know I'm being silly showing off my garage but I've worked so hard to clean it up! I busted my buns and I am so happy that it is so organized and clean . . .well by comparison to what it was before I cleaned it up.

The picture to the left shows how my garage looked 3 weeks ago. Man, it was a mess and it took 2 to 3 hours a day 3 times a week to clean this crazy place up! The picture to the right is my garage all cleaned up and happy! LOL! We hauled off so many stuff to the Salvation Army and I'm so glad that they are going to a good cause. We even tried to drop off a matress but they wouldn't accept it. Boo! That's okay.

Anyway, I am soooo HAPPY that my garage is all cleaned up and pretty!

We have a 3 car garage where one section is where we store all our stuff - mainly Christmas stuff and some of my craft stuff. The rest is our books and sentimental stuff. My daughter has 6 containers of her stuff that she wanted to keep, can you believe it? Where's our cars? Well, they sit on the drive way! LOL! Our poor cars are suffering in the elements.

Look at the mess with the picture on the left but the picture to the right shows it all cleaned up! Yipee! We don't have our cars in the garage because we use the other section of our garage for our exercise equipments which by the way, I rarely ever use! LOL!

Now that the garage is clean, it's a lot more inviting to exercise. Yay! Not that I'm doing a lot of exercising but I'm a lot more motivated to get on the machines than I was 3 weeks ago!

Anyway, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!

I love your card. I can never get enough of bright colours against white cuttlebugged paper. SO fresh & pretty. What a pain that you went to all of that effort to make a video for us & it gave you technical difficulties. Hope it goes smoothly next time. Your garage looks like those TV shows where they organize you. Not silly to share it at all. I've been jonesin' for a peep. It's a big job! Great that you can get at the exercise machines (and even more great that you can get at your pastels, heehee.) I wish there was a machine for exercising and stamping at the same time, lol. Ok, I'm gonna stop taking up all of your space, ;0) Hope you have a great monday!

Your card is cute and pretty. I love the heart shaped brads in the middle of the flowers.

Your clean garage is quite an accomplishment. I hear ya about no cars in the garage. We have a 3 car garage too with no cars inside and they sit outside in the elements in the cold winters of Minnesota! The third stall is my husbands workshop and it kind of spills over into the rest of the garage. Between that and garage stuff there's no room for our cars.

I totally relate to your garage. We have two 2 car garages both with additional workshop spaces. Neither fir a car inside. And with the exception of maybe 3 cubic feet area, all of it is with my Darl Hubby's stuff. We also have a huge gigantic attic which admittedly has 50% occupancy with my stuff about half which is craft related the rest is useful one day stuff such as excess books, mattresses, dress up costumes, doll's house, suitcases etc etc etc. We have been told by all 4 grown up kids that neither of us are allowed to die until we get rid of all that stuff. I just told them to bring a dumpster if they wish AFTER we are dead and gone... but it may come in useful one day!!!
