You must be thinking my crafting mojo is back considering it looks like I worked really hard to create my card. Actually everything on my card except the lace and beads are all scraps! Yup, scraps! I had colored the rose image a while back but never used it. The embossed background was something I created when I created the video tutorial for this "shabby chic embossing" technique. Click Here for the tutorial. Oh my . . .I looked at the date of when I created the tutorial and it was in January. Gosh, that is how long I've been holding on to the embossed panel. LOL!

Hey. . .I hope you're not sick of seeing lace on my cards! Why? Well, I have a gazillion rolls of lace and I gotta use them. My motto nowadays are "hoarding no more" or "use it or lose it"!

Honestly. . .after I created this card, it sort of brought back a little crafting "spark" in me! Something I haven't felt for over a month. Yay! It's a good sign!

Like I said, I colored the rose image a long time ago but there was something I didn't like about how I colored it so I sort of threw it in the crap pile. LOL! Yes, crap pile.

To refurbish the image and bring it back to life, I added glitter to the image. The wonderful part was that the leaves weren't colored otherwise it wouldn't have matched my color scheme of my card. Seeing that I didn't color the leaves, I decided to use it and colored the leaves brown to give it a more vintage appearance. I added glitter all over the image and nearly messed up the image. I had to rub off some of the glitter because it actually covered up the details of the image. Whala! It all worked out in the end! Yay!

BTW. . .the image is by Stampin Up in the case you're wondering. . .:)

Anyway. . .that's it for today! Hope you all have a gorgeous and blessed weekend!!!
