Shabby Chic Birdie Thank You Card

Hi Friends! Gosh, I haven't blogged for a week! I've been busy with a few crochet flower orders so I really haven't had a chance to sit down and make a card or anything else! My plan is to create a few cards this weekend and I really would love to sew something soon.

Here is a card I created a while back but I revamped it to give it a more "shabby chic" appearance.

To revamp the card, I added a thank you sentiment stamped on a Stampin Up designer paper.

I didn't change the bird or the prima flowers. They are exactly how I originally created them.

I originally had a different sentiment to the card but I it was more of a message rather than a card sentiment so I decided to change it to a "thank you" sentiment.

I added the seam binding bow embellished with a crochet flower and satin rosette to the ribbon. I thought by adding those embellishments changed the card to a more shabby chic style card which seem to be popular nowadays. I do have to revamp a few cards I've made by adding more embellishments. I typically didn't add too many embellishments on my cards in the past but because I have so many embellishments, I decided to more embellishments to cards I've already made.

Just letting you know that I listed this card in my Etsy shop: Inspired & Unscripted

Anyway Friends. . .thank you for stopping by my blog! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!!
