Blog Candy Challenge Day 4

Hi everybody! Thank you all for such a great response to all the challenges. It has been fun reading all your comments. Thank you especially to those who have submitted pictures and linked their site to the cards using my sketch. If I haven't visited your site yet and commented on your card. . .don't worry, I'll find time tonight to do so. I wasn't feeling well last night so I ended up sleeping early.

Today's added prize is a stack of K&CO double sided designer paper. I love K&Co. papers because they're almost as thick as cardstock so basically you can use it as a cardbase. Furthermore, the patterns are so pretty. This stack contains 36 double sided designer paper. The cover shows the different patterns of paper. This prize will be added to the prize bucket.

Blog Candy Challenge Day 4

"Christmas Decorations"

I've been fizzling out on finishing up with decorating our house. I've lost steam for some reason and have not been in the mood. We did decorate quite a bit but we still haven't bought our tree because quite honestly, I've lost my Christmas spirit temporarily. A great way to bring it back is to see what others have done to decorate for Christmas. Click here to see what we've done so far in our home.

Today's challenge is send me a picture to my email address lbmcd66@hotmail.com or comment and link a picture from your blog site or picture gallery of your Christmas tree or a Christmas decoration that you placed inside your home. You have until December 5th 12:00 midnight to submit the picture or the link. Can't wait to see your Christmas decorations or tree.

:( We haven't decorated yet! I guess with craziness going on at home I just haven't really gotten in the mood like that. I know for sure we're getting our tree on Friday, but then it'll be to late for this challenge. :( I am however working on some ornaments though.

I can't imagine that you have any more room for decorating your house! You've already got so much done! It looks gorgeous as is.

I've posted some photos of our tree and the kids decorating it on my blog. You can check out the link here:

We haven't put our tree up yet...maybe this weekend! Waiting on my Christmas cactus that is blooming first. I have to move it...lol
I emailed you a picture of a snowman that my husband and daughter bought me on Sunday! He's super cute and lights up and illuminates snowflakes on the wall!
Hope you get your holiday mojo back!

I dont do Christmas, no tree, no decorations, no credit card craziness. I checked out of the Christmas insanity about 10 years ago because it was so out of hand then, can you imagine how much worse it is now?

I donate all the money I would have spent to local kids charities and just get on with counting the days til Spring.

Maria - your place rocks....I love all your decorations. I spent all last weekend decorating our place. It's just the two of us-and 4-grandkids in town and 5-in Calfornia (right in your back yard). Sending you some pictures of my tree - house and stairs which have a teddy bear on each of the steps for the grandkids. Hope you enjoy! kadie

:( we are not getting our tree until Saturday. Having a little guy who is a Christmas eve baby does that count if I put a photo of him up? haha...I can find one of him stuffed in a stocking when he was a year old but the stocking would not even fit on his head now. I may dig out some decorations tomorrow but I am preping for a class so I may have to pass on this one. :(

this is the first time we have put any decorations up in a few years...so we have put a tree up, but we don't have many things on it because my little cat keeps climbing in it! I am afraid she will break one of my special ornaments if I put them on there. But it does have lights on it. Also my Mom & sister came over the other day and we put a gingerbread house together, it turned out cute...not pretty but we had a blast! It ment a lot we are thankful to have my Mom around she was really sick, so times like gingerbread house constructing are so precious. You can see our little house on my blog...my tree is in the background. This blog candy is looking TOOOOO SWEET!!!

I have posted a blog today on my Christmas decorations! We do not decorate much more then stockings and a tree. I would like to get a Christmas village for the top of our fireplace but there are so many buildings and such it is hard to choose from and where to start. Thanks for the chance!

We have not decorated yet, this Sunday is the day that my daughter & fiancee are coming over early & we are starting a new tradition, my future son-in-law loves to eat so we plan to add a pan cake breakfast to the day we get together & decorate the house. I bought some pan cake molds just for this occassion. Can't wait!

I had to wait for MIL before I began decorating. She is now here from up North and hopefully tomorrow my tree will be up and this weekend the outside of the house will be all decorated. If you could wait till then I will post a picture. Usually its done on Thanksgiving but we had to wait for MIL or we would be in trouble...lol
