Crazy 4 Challenges - C4C78
Hello Friends! It's Saturday and it's challenge time again at Crazy 4 Challenges! Silke's challenge this week is to create a card that includes a tree in celebration of International Earth Day! It's funny because for last week's challenge, I created a card with a tree as well. I like tree images so this challenge is definitely a fun one for me!!
Be sure to stop by C4C and play along in the challenge and while you're there check out the fabulous cards the crazy gals created for this week's challenge. If you prefer, stop by the designers' individual blogs:

I have a bunch of scrap fabric from projects I had sewn and I'm accumulating quite a few scraps now that I'm sewing more often. I decided to use my scrap fabrics and cut them into a shape of a tree! I sort of randomly sewn up and down the tree. . .just to add a bit of texture. Does it look messy?
Anyway, that's it for today! Hope you all have a wonderful Saturday

I found this really cute plastic envelope in my scrap pile. I decided to do something different and use it as a tag. . I've been having fun adding different elements to my cards, especially different textures and such. I've been soooo mainstream the past few years that I sorta got tired of it so I needed to change things or well, I would have probably given up blogging and such. It got to the point where I was losing interest in blogging. But. . .now that I'm sewing, creating jewelry, crocheting, etc. . .I have renewed interest in crafting and sharing my projects on my blog. . .:) It feels like when I first started stamping and making cards . . .I was so excited back then about walking into my craft room, learning new things, experimenting and sharing what I've learned on my blog. . .now, with the new crafts that I'm doing, it feels that way again!!! Yay!!!
Hey . . .I have a linky party in progress as well. . .link you card or any crafty project to my linky party "Crafty Friday Mash Up" . . .share your beautiful creation. . .:) Click Here I'll be drawing a winner at the end of month. . .you may win something crafty. . .:)
