Shabby Chic Card Set

Hey Friends! The other day I did another mini card marathon . I actually created two sets of 2 cards each . . .I'll post the other set tomorrow. I've been actually busy crafting but have been slacking with posting my work. Yesterday I had sewn my first bag which turned out pretty good and I made a few pairs of earrings.

I've been having issues with my lamp that I use to take my photos. It's a floor lamp that had fallen over several times because I'm always bumping into it due to my cramped space in my craft room and well, it finally decided it dropped too many times that it refused to stand upright. The plastic shade also cracked. Whenever I had to take a photo of my creations, I would have to hold the lamp up with one hand and hold my camera with the other. It was getting a bit annoying so I wasn't in the mood to take pictures. I did find another lamp from another part of the house and rearranged my photo taking spot a little to accommodate the lamp. Yay!

I decided to create a shabby chic card set using my Unity Stamps. The script background and the flower image are actually two different stamps. I stamped the flower image over the script image but it looks like it's one whole image doesn't it?

I decided to add a few Prima flowers to my cards. . .I wish the rose Primas were less expensive or I would use more of them on my cards. I love them!

Anyway. . .sorry for not posting regularly considering I have been quite crafty lately. I've just been too lazy to blog. Hopefully, I'll get my groove back soon. . .:)

Me again. Did you ever think about making your own flowers and sprinkling them with Diamond Dust? There are a lot of flower tutorials out ther and Tina Neudorf has a booklet on making various flowers with punches. Her email is tina.neudorf@gmail.com.
