Hi Friends! Okay, I've been holding off on you all! I had made a bunch of the Greeting Farm cards and was going to post it daily but decided to post them all at once! LOL! I've been a good girl and have been creating like a mad woman! I go through this hyper state of crafting then "bam!", I sort of go through a hibernation mode and don't create for days.
Are you the type that can only create when you're "in the mood". I am. I can be pretty crafty when I'm in the mood but when I'm not, I can't even step into my craft room. Luckily, I don't have too many days when I don't want to make a card or project but I do have my moments!
Anyway. . .on to my cards. This image is called "Hula Anya". It's one of my favorites. I'm originally from Hawaii so this image is just my style. Isn't Anya gorgeous in her hula skirt dancing the hula at the beach with the sun setting in the background? I think so.

Hey today is my daughter's Senior Award night. This is the night when students are recognized for their achievements. I'm excited for my daughter. She'll be receiving a few Stoles. I'll tell you about it tomorrow. I'll be sure to take a few pictures.
Okay. . .this sweetie is "Dahlia. She also has sort of a Hawaiian girl look with the pretty flower in her hair. I colored her with my Copic Markers.
The flower is by SU. . .it's from the "Playful Petals" set. I watercolored the flower with my Twinkling H2o which gives the image a shimmery appearance.
Stamps: The Greeting Farm Dahlia, Showtime
Paper: SU So Saffron, Tempting Turquoise, K&CO designer paper
Ink: Copic Markers, Twinkiling H2O
Accessories: Making Memories Ribbon, Stickles, 1 1/4" and 1 3/8 circle punches, CB embossing Folder, Coluzzule Oval Template, Fiskar scallop scissors
Hey. . .guess what I did. I bought a whole bunch of Nesties. I've been using my Coluzzle templates and scallop scissors all this time but I wanted a bigger scallop on my shapes so I decided to go ahead and buy them. I actually have the oval and circle scallops but rarely use them. I'm such a lazy stamper that I hate bringing out tools from my closet and doing the extra stuff such as running a die through a machine! LOL! Believe it or not, cutting the oval shape with my Coluzzle and cutting the scallop with my scissors are a faster process for me. Once I receive my Nesties, I'll make it a habit to use them.
Okay. . .a little bit about this cutie. This Ian is from the Matey set. Isn't he the cutest or what?
Do you see that frame shape? I had it for ages. I happen to look in a container and I saw a package of scrapbooking frames that I bought like 3 years ago.
The dots on the frame and scallops were created using the Scribbles Iridescent paint. It gives the dots a raised look rather than flat dots.
Anyway. . .hope you all have a wonderful day!
