Scrappy Cards and Flower Template

Hi Friends!! It's my second post for the day! I decided to work on a few scrappy cards meaning no stamping but just using designer paper and embellishments. I have a ton of scraps. . .it's not funny. Argggh!! Do you know. . .if I had a goal as far as crafting, I wish I was a better scrapbooker and be able to create beautiful layouts and scrappy cards like I see on many blogs. Gosh, some of those I've seen are so beautiful but it's hard to divide my time. I wish I had all the time in the world to do this sort of stuff. Unfortunately, there's this thing called sleep. I think that's the one thing in my life I wish I didn't have to do. LOL! There's so many fun things in life to do and well, sleep in my opinion is the one thing that is a major obstacle.

I haven't made any scrappy cards for a while. I love scrappy cards. . .they're great for using up all those scraps that you collect.

This card was created by just cutting out one of the flowers from a scrap piece of designer paper. I added buttons, sticker embellishments, and added the white dots with my Sakura gel pen.

With this card, I created the flower using a template that I created on Adobe Illustrator. The template shows different flowers. You can reduce or enlarge it to create custom size flowers.

With this card I used the medium sized flower to create the big flower on the card. I added other die cuts, chipboard, and sentiment stickers to complete the card. I also added lace and an adhesive ribbon. I just noticed that my lace is crooked. Argghh! I sometimes spot these things only after I've uploaded the card on my blog. Oh, well!

There's nothing really much to making scrappy cards and it's really fun using up scrap dps and embellishments. . which by the way, I have many of!

Anyway, if you want to check out the template below. You can print directly from the document below.

With the template below, if you want to print it, click on the drop menu that is labeled "more". It'll give you the option to print. You may view a full page of the tutorial by clicking on the icon to the very top right corner. It'll open up a new window with the templatel. If you just want to enlarge directly on the blog, click on the + button or the magnifying glass! You may scroll down the page using the scroll bar to the right of the document. Anyway, try the template out when you have a chance!
