Daily Special - Technique Day - Fun Shaker Card Tutorial

Good Morning Everyone! Today's Daily Special is "Technique Day" and today's tutorial is creating a "Fun Shaker Card". Shaker cards aren't new and the tutorial is on a standard shaker card but if you've never made one, check out the tutorial. It's actually very simple once you get the hang of it. This shaker card tutorial is to create a shaker box using a "container" type of image.

Both cards were created using "All Wrapped Up" and "Amazing to Zany" stamp sets. With the first card, I used punched flowers from the "Spring Bouquet Flower" punch for the shaker card filling. The color combo is tempting turqoise, pink passion, and green galore. The patterned paper is by DCWV Ultimate Stack and ribbon byBasic Basic. The image was colored with pastels and markers.

The stamp sets used for the second card are "All Wrapped Up" and "In My Thoughts" stamp sets. The color combo is Certainly Celery and Tempting Turqouise. The background papers are from DCWV Summer and Ultimate stacks. The swirl clips are clips that I bought at Office Depot, the brads are by JoAnn and the ribbons are by Basic Basic. The filling that I used for the shaker were micro beads. To color the container I used pastels and markers and the fish was colored with Prismacolor markers.

Don't forget to scroll down for the sketches!!

Until later. . .
