Christmas Stampin All Yearl Long Challenge #17

Hey Friends!! It's Christmas Stampin All Year Long Challenge time again! We're on challenge #17 already and Debbie of The Paper Garden will be hosting the challenge every 3rd week of the month!! Whoohoo! This week's challenge is a color combo challenge! Stop by Christmas Stampin' All Year Long to check out the challenge and the fabulous cards created by the design team.

Hey, why don't you folks play this week!! We would love to see your cards!!

A few of you asked what I use to create the "white" highlights on my card. Okay. . .parts of the images on my cards that are white are just areas that I didn't color with my marker. For the cheeks and some parts of the image, I do add white dots using an opaque marker such as Sakura Gel Pen. Nothing special. . .just regular gel pen.

Anyway. . .I colored this Rachel Ann Miller image using my Copic Markers. There's nothing else to the card. . .just basically using designer paper and adding a ribbon.

I love the color combo. . .it's not traditional Christmas colors but I think they look great for Christmas. What do you think?

Hey, this evening it's the Community Scholarship Awards ceremony and my daughter was invited because she'll receive a scholarship.. Whoohoo! I'm excited. I'll be sure to take pictures. I don't know how much she'll receive but any amount is good. I'm just proud of my daughter.

Hope you all have a wonderful Monday!!

I absolutely Love-Love-Love the color scheme. I'd color all my cards that way if I could.....well, I suppose I could ! Who says hair can't be turquoise and trees can't be pink ? (Icolor outside the lines and run with scissors too) You are so amazingly talented, and I follow you by RSS every day, and go back in time for inspiration.
