The Greeting Farm Hope & Grace Release

Hi Friends!! The Greeting Farm released their new May stamp sets today! Go check it out! Whoohoo! Oh, my gosh! They are cute!! I decided to work on this card and the image is from the new "Hope & Grace" stamp set.

I think this image is Grace! Isn't she a cutie or what! She's sort of a tom-boy but if you wanted to you could probably make her into a boy. This card took me quite a while to make. Well, not really! Actually, the shape and the stars was what took long. I have a program called Adobe Illustrator and you can create digital images, shapes, etc using this program. Clip arts can be converted to printable and scaled images as well. Unfortunately, the program is stinkin' expensive. . like $700. It's a program that allows you to convert your drawing into digital art or directly draw on the program and create images if you want. Graphic artist and illustrators like to use this program to create the cliparts that you see on programs and online. It's also used to create digital stamps that stamp companies are selling nowadays.

I also have a cutting machine similar to the Cricut called the Craft Robo . . .the American version is the "Wishblade". Craft Robo and Adobe Illustrator are compatible so you can cut images directly from Illustrator to Craft Robo. . can you image the possibilities? Unfortunately, the learning curve with creating graphic art on Illustrator is huge and I don't have the time to learn the program the way I would like to otherwise I would be creating digital images! LOL!

Anyway. . .I only have two Nestabilities shapes. . the oval and circle scallop which I rarely use. I don't know. . .I'm just a lazy crafter and don't like to have to bring out things from my cabinet. Yeah, lazy big time. I decided to create a die cut shape on Illustrator and cut it on my Craft Robo. I took the Top Notes shape and modified it by removing the pointed part from the left and right side to create a new shape. You can't really see it because I covered it up with the ribbon.

Anyway. . .enough of my yapping. I'm sure I'm boring you!

I colored Grace using my Copic Marker. She has a yellow tone to her skin. . .I used a different color marker . . .I think "Milky White E51" . . I normally use "Skin White E00". I think I used "Baby Pink E21". I'm not sure because I colored the image while watching CSI last night so I wasn't paying attention to what colors I was using.

Stop by The Greeting Farm and check out the cute new images released today.

I'll be back today. . .I'll post another card. . not the Greeting Farm this time. . something else. So drop by this evening or later in the afternoon and say "hello". . :)

Hope you all have a wonderful Friday!!
