The Greeting Farm Shepard Boy

Hi Friends!! Gosh, I haven't had time to blurf and visit my blog friends! Sorry about that. I've been busy with life. Thank goodness for my stock pile of cards so I have something to post. I'll stop by and say hello this evening.

My daughter had her "Senior Grad Night" last night and all the seniors went to Disneyland from midnight to 6 in the morning. Southern California high school seniors participate in this event. Disneyland remains open from midnight until morning and only high school seniors are allowed to enter. It's like a school field trip. My daughter said that Disneyland was packed full like it was on New Years. Have you ever been to Disneyland on New Years? We did for the past 3 years and it's a shocking experience. I've never seen so many people in one place. It's NUTZ!

Anyway. . because my daughter wasn't home last night, my husband and I stopped by the Pachengo Casino & Resort. We have a huge casino about 10 minutes from where we live. I was a smart girl. I only lost 20 dollars. LOL! It's funny because I say that I lost money and I'm a smart girl for that. A 20 dollar loss is a good thing. I've lost more in the past and I would spend days mulling over my loss. My husband don't like going to the casino because he says when I lose even a small amount, I get upset over it. I know people lose hundreds and thousands of dollars and keep going back. If I even lose 50 dollars, I have deep regrets and don't want to go back! LOL!

Hopefully, I'll have time this evening to sit down and blurf and make a card. I haven't stepped in my craft room for 2 days.

I made this card over a week ago. The image is by the Greeting Farm. I love this image. This set is fantastic. . .I think it's an Easter set but honestly, you can use it for any occasion. . . especially if you want to make a "spiritual" type of card.

I colored the image with my Copic Markers and drew in the grass.

Anyway. . I gotta run again. My daughter just got home from her fun trip and we're now heading out to eat breakfast and do some shopping. There's a store that's going out of business and everything is 80% off so we want to get what we can while there's good stuff still being sold. We don't want to go there when there's only left overs.

Hope you all have a fantastic day!!

Very cute card Maria, Love your colors and the pearly accents.

Funny about the Gambling. First time my hubby took me to a Casino and we lost our money I cried. He told me that he'd never take me there again if I was going to cry because, "That's Why it's called, GAMBLING!" and I've been pretty good since about sucking it up if we lose money. I like it so much better when we win!

Love it! So vibrant! But then again, can I expect anything less?

Question, do you send all your cards out? If so I take it you use the square envies...don't u have to pay extra for the square envelopes? I want to swtich over but hate having to deal with figuring out how much more postage is...yeah, I know...I'm lazy! LOL!

How you doing w/the Host? I liked it but...I'll share more after you read it!

BTW, my in-laws always go to Pachenga for dinner when they're too lazy to cook...lol! When I visit next time we should meet up there for lunch or dinner (^o^)

Hope you're having a great day over in South Cali!
