Stampin Up Unfrogettable

Good Morning, Friends!! Hey remember this Stampin Up stamp set. It was my favorite at one time. I think I have over 200 SU sets. . .it's crazy. All my old sets are sitting in the garage on a shelf. Once in a while I'll go down into the garage and pull out a few sets to use.

This was one that I decided to use. I've never sold any of my SU stamps. . .I see some stampers that sell a whole bunch of their sets each catalog year but I can't seem to do it. I can't sell any of my stamps or anything else as a matter of fact. I always think . . .one day, I won't have the money to buy any more craft stuff and I'll regret selling them! LOL! I think my thinking is the result of growing up quite poor. When I didn't eat all my food, my grandmother would tell me "one day you're not going to have money and you'll look back and wished that you didn't waste your food". It's all psychological! Too funny. . .her words do run through my psyche once in a while so I don't take things for granted. I mean . . . things can happen.

I decided to create a scenery using the various stamps in the set. I really had fun creating this card. Nowadays I seem to cut everything. It's not too bad once you get accustomed to it. It's like a routine. . .just part of the process.

I've been using my CB embossing folders more often lately. I have a whole bunch of them and it's crazy that I don't use them. It's becoming a habit to take them out of my closet and run them through the machine.

Hey. . .I finally used my Prisma color pencils to color my images. I did use copic on the snail and the flowers but I colored the frog and the mushroom with the pencils!! Yipee!

Anyway. . .I have a stock pile of cards again so maybe I'll post another card later today.

Hope y'all have a fantastic day!

So cute and I'm with you - I just can't part with my old sets, I don't care if they are retired! If I liked them enough to buy them, then I'll like them enough to keep on using them! Love this card - such a cute set!

This has always been one of my favorites! Its so cute! Unlike you.... I go through my sets and sell quite a few every year to make room for new ones! LOL! I don't like clutter and they do take up so much room! It makes it a wee bit easier to decide which ones to use...
