Christmas Stampin All Year Long Challenge #46

Hi Friends!!! Oh gosh, TGIF!! Why. . .well, for many reasons! One of which is that it's Christmas Stampin All Year Long challenge time again! Honestly, without this challenge site I would not be making Christmas cards. I'm a major procrastinator. . .if it weren't for the fact that I was named after my grandmother, I honestly believe my middle name should have been "Procrastination"! LOL! I cannot even begin to tell you how many times I've gotten into trouble because I'm such a procrastinator.

Well. . .enough of that. . .let's get down to the details of the challenge. Patty of Mis Creaciones is hosting our challenging this week and she came up with a fantastic challenge. I also want to let you know that this week Lynda of Meandering With My Muse is our guest designer.

Be sure to stop by Christmas Stampin All Year Long and check out what this week's challenge is and the beautiful cards the design team created! Hope you play along with us this week!!!

I decided to create a card that was simple in design. I've never been really good at creating elegant cards but I decided to try again. I don't know if this card is elegant but I tried. .. :) I heat embossed "Eggplant" embossing powder to the wreath image then I colored in the image with my Copic Markers. I also lined the edge of one of the layers with a gold leaf pen. I was going to add glitter to part of the image but I got lazy and decided to just keep it the way it is. I think it would have looked prettier with glitter. . .oh well.

I cut the shapes around my image using my Cricut. I got the pretty lattice cut from "Images by Heather". She has a ton of free SVG files for your Cricut.

I don't know if you realize this by now but I like to listen to music and find my favorite songs and artists on YouTube. Well, when I first heard of Lady Gaga. . .I thought she was just a gimmick artist. . .but after watching her live shows on YouTube, her interviews, and really listening to her songs. .. wow, this girl is really talented. She is fabulous live and back before she was famous, she was already a very talented singer. She writes all her songs and when she sing her songs live, well. . .I think they are much better than the recorded version.

Anyway. . .I found this video of her before she was famous and wow, I was blown away. I found several videos but I wanted to share this video of her. She sure doesn't look like the Lady Gaga of today. . .but she still had a fabulous voice and a personality that's for sure. LOL! I wish she stuck to the "rock n' roll" route because she's fabulous as a rocker chick. . .check it out:

Anyway, hope y'all have a wonderful Friday!!
