Little C's Challenge: Shades of Purple

Hello Friends!!! Little C's is starting their weekly challenges and today starts the first challenge! Yay! How fun is that? Little C's challenges will be posted every Tuesday. Before I discuss the challenge. . . .

Here are the rules for the weekly challenges:

  • Deadline will always be on the following Sunday @ 6 pm, Hawaii Time
  • Winner(s) will be announced on Mondays
  • Little C's product are NOT necessary to play (unless noted), just as long you stick to the challenges' "theme".
  • 2 RULES to absolutely be qualified for a chance to win:
1) You must post a comment on all of the designer's blogs
2) You must post your card or project somewhere on the Internet such as your blog,
photo gallery, SCS gallery, PCP gallery, or an online forum, etc.
  • A prize will be awarded to the challenge winner
  • The three designers for Little C's are:
1) Jen (owner) at Pieces of Me
2) Mackenzie at Midnight Scramper
3) Maria at Stampin Inspirations (me)

Okay now that we have the rules out of the way.. . ..

Here is this week's challenge:

Create a card in shades of Purple (use different shades of purple, or purple designer paper, purple buttons or anything that makes purple the main color).

Okay. . .well, purple it is!!! LOL! Believe it or not but I did not have a designer paper that had purple as the dominant color. I actually went out and bought a stack of designer paper that had lots of purple colors. I don't create a lot cards or projects in purple because I didn't have any matching designer paper. Now that I bought a stack well don't be surprised to see more purple colored cards and projects.

I used an image from the Greeting Farm "Sweet Tooth" set that you can find at Little C's! Stop by and check out all the TGF stamps that Little C's sell. They are all adorable!!

I colored the image using my Prisma Colored Pencils and Copic Markers. Prisma color pencils? Yeah. . .I decided to play around with it. I haven't used them for such a long time . ..I think I need to work on my coloring with them! LOL! I actually don't like how I colored the image but I didn't want to start over! I also added a bit of glitter to parts of the image.

Anyway stop by Jen's and Mackenzie's blog! Hope you'll play along in the challenge and have a chance to win a prize.

Be sure to stop by Jen's blog at Pieces of Me for more details about the challenge and the prize.

Card Details:

Stamps: TGF Sweet Tooth (Little C's)
Paper: K&CO designer, SU Eggplant Envy, Lavendar Lace

Before I go I wanted to share this video. This song touches upon the subject of forgiveness. Is there someone in your life that you need to forgive or you hope could forgive you?

Anyway. . .I love this song by Brandon Heath. . .it's a beautiful song. . .hope you'll take the time to listen to it.

Hope you all have a beautiful day!!

Hello Maria,
Your card is so cute. That sure is some pretty paper you picked up.That image is just to cute.
I had the same problem finding any purple paper to use. I usually check my stacks to find out what I am missing and never noticed,lol..
