My Scrap Chick Butterfly Bag and Card Set and Pie Box
Happy Glorious Sunday, Friends!! I'm sorry I didn't post the Scrap Pile Saturday Challenge yesterday. I will be changing the challenge day to Sundays starting next week. I've got something coming up soon and that day will be reserved for my new endeavor. . .:) I'll tell you about it when that day comes.
I decided to play around with the myscrapchick.com "Butterfly Bag and Card" file and the "Pie Box" File. Oh these projects were so fun to create. Do you see the curvy design on the card and bag? Well, it comes with the file. I love it and can't wait to make more of them. The "$1 Pie Box" is such a cute box. It makes for a great box for treats, cookies, and such. It'll be a great Halloween or Holiday treat box. I think I'm going to make more of them!
My bag is quite large. . .it's a two part cut so it was possible to create a large bag. Since using myscrapchick.com cutting files, making boxes and bags are so easy to create. It's quick to put together! I absolutely love them!! This bag comes with in a file set along with a matching card from the "Butterfly Bag and Card" set.
Here is the matching card from the "Butterfly Bag and Card" file set. The file set also comes with a few butterfly files as well. I decided to use only one butterfly on my card and bag but you can add several butterflies to your design. I think I'll do that the next time I create with this file. The designer paper by the way is from Stampin Up!
This "Pie Box" file is perfect for treats! I decided add a brownie . . it fit in perfectly. I wanted to add cookies. I wish I could work faster and make a ton of these boxes! If I did it assembly style, I think I could make a bunch of boxes really quickly. I used the same butterfly from the "Butterfly Bag and Card" file.
I just wanted to let you know that I'll be using a lot of lace on my projects because I won an awesome lot of lace from Ebay! OMG! Take a look at all the pretty lace I won!! I won this lot for $9.99 and $10.00 shipping. The photo don't quite capture the amount of lace is in this pile. Seriously! Yards and yards of them! LOL! I'm so excited because I stopped by JoAnn and wanted to buy a few lace and a yard of the prettier lace cost over $4 a yard. Ugggh! I couldn't stomach the price. By winning the lace on Ebay saved me over a $100 or more. The best part is the lace didn't smell funny. . .they were all new stuff!
Anyway. . .I can't wait to use these pretty lace on projects!!!!
Okay. . that's it for today! I hope you have a beautiful glorious Sunday!
