New Year's Resolutions
Hi Everyone!! Well. . .it's time to post my New Year's Resolutions. Last year I had a long list of resolutions I wanted to accomplish and basically, broke every one of them. I was rather ambitious. Last year I thought if I made a long list, I'll accomplish at least one of them which did not work. Well, this year, I decided a shorter list is better. LOL!!
2008, honestly, was a dismal year. I won't go into it but yeah, not a very happy year. . .lots of surprises and not good ones. I think 2009 will be different so I'm excited that it will be a better and happier year.
Basically, my New Year's Resolutions are:
1. To be happy.
2. To be kinder.
3. To enjoy life.
4. Take more pictures.
5. Be more giving.
6. Use my planner and stick to it.
7. Stay organized.
8. Start making my Christmas cards in January.
9. Scrapbook more often.
10. Decrease my expenditure.
11. Lose weight
12. Don't sweat the small stuff
13. Live simple
14. Be a loving mother and wife.
15. Be positive, speak positive, act positive, think positive
I think that's it. They're very non-specific but it'll give me room to play around with my resolutions rather than having them so restrictive that there's no way I could accomplish any of them. Many of my resolutions are also stuff I'm already practicing in my daily life so just to continue them is one of my resolutions.
Well. . .one of my resolutions is to start my Christmas cards and projects in January and not wait until December!! LOL! So. . .with that being said. Here is my first Christmas card for 2009! Yay! I've already accomplished one of my resolutions. Now, all I need to do is continue making them.
There's nothing much to this card. . .I did add Liquid applique to the snow and a bit of glitter also. I also added SU Crystal Effects to part of Mr. Snowman. That's about it.
Stop by my Stampin Inspirations Club Site and Card Inspired blog sites. I posted tutorials there today if you want to check them out.
